  • Need some advice..some expert advice

    Hello everyone
Guys I owned a pulsar rs200 non abs version. I met with an accident while riding as a pillion resulting into ruining of bike.
Now I want to buy a new bike and I have mainly one motive that I should not feel less power as compared to my RS.
Also I won't be able to stretch my budget more.
So should I go for an rs again as seriously I loved this bike like anything.
    I am 5'11''.
    Please reply with suitable suggestions.

        Hello Sharma Ji,

An accident is something that can happen anywhere anytime. You might be able to reduce the probability or the chance of such an incident occuring in the future by cutting off the ways in which it happened, i.e.

        1. Not allowing an inexperienced rider on your bike
        2. ABSOLUTELY not sitting behind one while he gains his skills on one.

I feel sad for you and your RS, as it is a beautiful machine and does cost a good amount. You can probably go for it again, however since you have already experienced it, might as well try different manufacturers? Yamaha, Suzuki and Honda have good options too!
If you ride like no tomorrow, there will be none.

Give the full info here Sharmiji

Did you write that you dont have a driving license and you bought the RS
Did you write it was your known person who crashed it
Did you write that you just came back after a ban of 7days because you are a potential hazard on the road riding a 24bhp bike without even a valid license

Do mention all of these and then post a thread again

And yes one expert advice : Stay away from bikes til you get a valid DL
More expert advice : Stay away from high powered machines till you know how to tame them.

This is not the way to look for bike. List down your priorities and cut the list down to smaller number.

              for ex-
              1. For what purpose you are looking for bike. track days, weekend ride, touring, commuting within city.
              2. Wants to ride solo or with a pillion.
              3. Availability of spare parts, maintenance cost and service station in your area.

              etc etc etc.

              Cheers

Advice 4.0 : Buy sock that fit your feet, meaning get a bike which you can control at its peak. Chances are you wont be able to control RS or Duke in that matter.

You want a more powerful bike now? And that too at the same cost?? Well.. First, as someone already suggested, get yourself a DL.. Without a DL, you are a threat to the other road users.. Even after you met with an accident, that too without DL, I am still wondering how your parents are ready to get you another bike..

People do meet with accidents and I agree.. But it is dangerous without a DL.. You are not authorized to ride a bike legally. That too a powerful bike..

Why are you people even bothering answering to this kid? Do you think he would listen? Would you people have listened about road safety, driving license etc, had your parents been ready to grant your every whim and fancy?

Kid, dont kill others on the road, buy whatever you want but be merciful to others n keep the damage contained please. It is easy to buy whatever you want if you have funds behind you, but understanding the fact that you are endangering everyone on the road everytime you set out is something else. Wait till you grow up to play with grown up's toys.

                          Bro please chill
Yeah I don't have a driving license but I ride bike only on empty roads or with least traffic.
This was the reason why someone else was driving my bike while crash as that road has some traffic.
I am a complete SANE rider.
I follow traffic rules and most importantly I ENSURE OTHER PEOPLES' SAFETY BEFORE MINE.

Was there an xbhp 11 years back? I was 13 when I took my dad's splendor surreptitiously out on the highway. I wore his helmet, and used the horns and mirrors liberally.

It seemed so easy and natural to ride that when I returned home, I trolled my dad by stopping near him, and asked his name.

He didn't realise that it was his bike and his helmet. After we shook hands, I removed the helm. Still remember the look on his face.
