  • Daytona 675 or CBR 650F?

Hi guys, i am new to xbhp this is probably my first post. I am a bit confused which bike to buys afterall, Daytona 675 or cbr 650.
If we go by the looks daytona is far more better rather than cbr, even in the performance sector daytona has an upper hand and even the ergonomics of daytona is better Please help me decide whi h one to go for.
I would hardly go on track on any of the bikes. Guys please share your wisdom with me.
    regards:

    Approved!

I find Panigale 1199/959 most beautiful. It's awesome in terms of specs too. Do look in to it.

re: Daytona 675 or CBR 650F?

Both bikes are of different class CBR 650F being a sports tourer whereas daytona being a track oriented bike. If you are looking for faired bike and do weekend rides then take daytona but if you are a tourer then CBR 650F.

But as I always say test ride the bikes which you have shortlisted.

MODS: why thread title is daytona 675 or CBR 250R ? Shouldn't it be CBR 650F?

re: Daytona 675 or CBR 650F?

You can consider the 959 Panigale which replaced the 899. Daytona is also a good choice. If you are not a track person as you said and just need a powerful sports bike, then CBR 650F will be a good bet. It all depends on your budget. Actually daytona 675 and cbr 650 cannot be compared. They are both in different leagues. It all depends on your needs and budget.

PS: Title should have been Daytona 675 or Cbr 650F.

It's not about how hard you get hit... It's about how hard you get hit and just keep moving forward.

Your story may not have such a happy beginning... But that doesn't make you who you are... It is the rest of your story... Who you chose to be.

If you are in for look have a serious look at the ducati Panigale 959. Please do note in mind that Ducati's Services are still not best in class and has a lot more to do to cope up with the competition. If you are into touring then you should look at the CBR 650F, Benelli TNT 600gt ,Triumph Tiger etc.
But if you want the best of both worlds go for the Kawasaki Z800 with a touring screen and howling loud aftermarket exhaust.

What the whole point in considering the Daytona then. If looks are more important, even the MV Augusta F4 is good.

Buddy, give more insight on what you are looking for. You usage, budget, the bikes you have considered are 3L apart. Thats a huge margin.

If you don't plan to do track then leave Daytona. It will punish your back, arms and wrists.

Also, apart from the totally different category, both the bikes have a price difference of about 5-6 lacs between them.

Without a proper usage requirement one can't really suggest which one is better.

If you just want an eye candy then get a Ducati [emoji13]

If you ask me, just drive both the bikes and you will know the answer.

And there is no comparison between the two the 650F is just 85 bhp approx and the 675 is 118 bhp and the riding position is also very aggressive as compared to the 650f

Also when you consider the price it a difference which can fit a WagonR approx, just test drive and go for what you heart says.

Re: Daytona 675 or CBR 650F?

My two cents - buying a Daytona and using it solely on the streets is an insult to the technology that's gone into making the bike a scalpel for the track. That being said, I've only test ridden the Daytona for about 20km, loved every moment on it because everything in me was in hyper mode when I was riding the bike and still decided to shelf my dream of owning the bike in the future. Indian roads can't do it justice - not because of the quality but because of our sheer population and erratic traffic sense. I've never even seen the CB650F in flesh so I won't comment on it. And if you want eye candy, do what everyone is saying and get the ducati - provided you can find someone close to home who can help you take care of the bike. All the best and let us know what you decided. [emoji16][emoji108]🏻

No much information provided about the rider here.

                          Your experience with bikes.
Your priorities when buying a bike.
                          Expectations from a bike
                          How/where to ride the bike

                          Quick answer from me.

If not used to higher capacity bikes - 650F
If you are an experienced rider - Daytona

                          Cheers
