  • TNT 300 or NINJA 300

Hello folks, after a long im back to XBhp, i need help, ill keep it simple.. my options are TNT300 or NINJA 300, i love ninja for its look, performance and its also comfortable, i love TNT 300 for its awesome inline 2 feel, comfortable position, and offcourse it looks nice with the dual color accent and wider looks, i do daily commute around 60kms per day in bangalore traffic, from Ecity to Whitefield, so roughly 1200kms - 1500 kms per month, and tour once in a month.. so im worried about the service intervals and the charges, seems both bike are expensive when it comes to servicing, is it compulsary to get it serviced at 3000kms ?? and how about the quality, since its beeen a year, i just want to hear about the servicing quality and bike quality.. ninja is 4.2lakhs in bangalore, and 3.7 lakhs for TNT 300.. ive already paid 10k to benelli showroom, my mind it getting tilted between ninja 300 green and benelli 300 white... ive TD'ed both vehicle, i like both.. thats the problem. lol

    Query Approved

    Buy both

Jokes aside, if the Ninja is within your budget, then that would be a better buy

    All the best!

I had the same confusion before my decision to go for a user Ninja 250R

Can't help much because both are special in their own ways like you have mentioned.. That sound is eargasmic.. but Ninja isn't bad either.. Go with your heart.. Did you give a thought on the R3?

For better service experience & part availability, I would vote out of your 2 options to R3. If You absolutely hate R3 for some reason, Ninja is my 2nd bet.

Yes, as the guys have said, R3 is a great option. I suggest you consider it.
Or, if you wanna stick to your choices, Ninja 300 would be the better bike. The performance is really good and takes your riding to a whole new level. And I think, I'm not sure, Benelli's spare parts are much rarely available than Ninja's.
And regarding servicing, I have a friend from Kochi with Benelli TNT600i and he keeps worrying about the service charges. The quality of service is on par for both, I presume. And people from my college in Coimbatore, who had Ninja presented no problem as well, during their services.
Anyways, it's your call mate. Go for what your heart desires.

I would suggest you to go for the Ninja 300. The bike is great for touring and nothing really goes wrong as the build quality is par excellence. Regular service at 7000 km using synthetic oil is around Rs. 4000/-. If you change the exhaust from stock to say a leo vince or akraprovic, it will beat the Benelli exhaust note hollow.

First choice should be R3, then the Ninja 300 and then the TNT 300.
If it was my money - I'd choose the Japs over the Italians.
Read the ownership threads for all of these to get a better idea, talk to the owners, ask queries and then make an informed decision.

I am sorry to say but no! The exhaust note of Benelli TNT300 is pure rhythm while a N250/300 with a FFE sounds like any regular Single cylinder engine with FFE.. while with stock exhaust, the N250/300 sound beautiful post 7k rpm

Thank you all for ur inputs, seeing benelli thread makes me feel bad, regarding those unwanted service charges, if they have fixed it ill reconsider that, if not i might have to move on to ninja, another problem i found on ninja forums, they are talking about the split of Bajaj and kawasaki, and they are not taking any orders, i wanted a new bike by mid of jan, as my P220FI engine is almost dead, but now its kinda hard, i need to commute 60kms everyday, mostly city ride.. the only two reason i considered benelli over ninja / R3 because im 6ft2 and i have slight shoulder pain for past 3 months.. it will take another 4-6months to cure.. benelli riding position is the number one reason which caught me, and offcourse the benelli true sound, nightmare after seeing the service cost / oil change / sprocket costs etc.. Yes ninja / R3 spares are cheaper thn TNT 300, or should i skip and wait for few more months for any upcoming models ??

Ninja isn't cheap either. Sprockets will cost you 16k, side indicator will cost you 3k per piece for front.. when it comes to replacing spare part, nothing will be cheap especially on the imports.. they cost a premium.. but you always have after market parts like Rolon for sprockets is the best alternative. Indicators you can get from Aliexpress and so on.. nothing is cheap on the imports buddy. Be it Benelli, Yamaha or Kawasaki.. while R3 would be the cheapest as compared to the other 2..

BMW is coming up with a naked Street fighter and TVS is coming with Akula 300.. we can expect Hero to bring their HX250 but it's been ages..

Thought about Mojo? Bullet proof engine..

sorry bro my bad, what i meant was ninja / r3 spares cost are on little lower side comparing benelli, Yes im willing to spend for the premium, i saw akula and G310R from BMW, and a video of new 2017 benelli with ABS.. right now picking between these 2 premium bike ninja or benelli is like a blind pick for me, i really dont want R3 or Mojo for some personal Reason. the reason why i shortlisted TNT and NINJA..

In Noida the Onroad price of N300 is 4.16L when I was about to book it 3 months back before I got the deal of a lifetime on my Ninja 250

So you can expect the cost to be close to 4.3L in Bangalore

                            Hi punisher

I also dream of owning a ninja someday.
Glad to know you are so close to yours.

Are you sure you would be able to maintain the bike by yourself ?

Be it Benelli or Kawasaki, the odo will rise fast with your 60-100 kms/day riding.
I'm asking because you don't look very comfortable with your father writing the cheque for your dream bike. Because you will have to spend a good amount on import bikes servicing annually wrt local made bikes.

Don't get me wrong dude but if you don't like the idea of putting a dent in your father's account then may be you shouldn't

P.s- Why the loan didn't pass in your name ?
