Re: Which bike?
depends on your purpose, if you are going to use in city traffic, i would highly recommend you go for the FZ. dominar needs little muscle to maneuver in the city especially parking in tight spots and taking U turn, but for highway riding, if you ride in a straight lane you wont feel the weight of the bike on the other side FZ is light flickable and agile, given your weight FZ will definitely suit you and you wont feel it as underpowered because the combined weight of bike and yourself will be significantly low. also it costs lower so can save you some money to buy yourself some higher end nice riding gear :P (safety first) however, you will be missing on is ABS which i don't feel the need in city much so you can pass it on, the only real thing you will compromise is headlights i have heard FZ headlights although being LED isn't as powerful as dominars', but again in city conditions i think there will be enough illumination on street by the surrounding street lights. so if you are planning to go long distances on highway i recommend dominar hands down, and if not FZ is the best option for you. Also test ride both the bikes thoroughly for atleast around 10km in city and highway roads, you will know better....Originally posted by Jishnukj View PostHi brother,
I am still confused between FZ25 and Dominar, i am a skinny guy weighed below 50kg..
Dominar's weight (182kg) become a dilemma for me..
Yet to take a test drive..
i hope it cleared your confusion,Last edited by aashray223; 08-30-2017, 04:04 PM." Only a biker knows why a dog sticks his head out of a car window."

Re: Which bike?
Do you intend to retain your CBR & buy one more bike? Well,I wouldn't be surprised if the Answer is yes.Dominar is a good one to have without any doubts. My experience in the last 8 days of owning it is beyond what I was expecting.Dominar gives you superb stability, nice & linear power delivery.Brakes & lights are top notch.Yet to test the lights in foggy conditions though.I am still in the running in period so can't comment on how the bike performs in higher speeds but with what I could do so far I am sure the Dominar won't disappoint.Originally posted by zeeshan300975 View PostHi guys ... Re: Which bike?
There isn't much difference in the top end of the d400 and the cbr, cbr can do 80-130kmph all day in the highway, both are capable tourers but from 26 to 34bhp isn't much if jump, you rather consider the Duke 390 or the r3 or rc.Originally posted by zeeshan300975 View PostHi guys ... Re: Which bike?
If you're planning to replace 1-year old CBR 250, I'd say it's a big NO. No doubt Dominar is a good product, but it can't match precision engineering, quality, handling and reliability of CBR 250.Dominar makes its weight felt -it feels heavy as well. Besides, as someone pointed out - it won't be much of an upgrade in terms of performance.Originally posted by zeeshan300975 View PostHi guys ... I am planning to buy another bike ... Re: Which bike?
I too agree with this opinion. D390 2017 would be the proper upgrade, if you can stretch your budget to fit it in. This is in context of you already owning cbr 250, otherwise, for someone upgrading from other lower displacement/quality bikes, D 400 is a very good choice n VFM.Originally posted by Deathwing View PostThere isn't much difference in the top end of the d400 and the cbr, cbr can do 80-130kmph all day in the highway, both are capable tourers but from 26 to 34bhp isn't much if jump, you rather consider the Duke 390 or the r3 or rc.
