Did you check the Intruder from Suzuki?[emoji28]
I guess Avenger is a good bet. Think about it. And considering your budget you could make remarkable mods and make it tour friendly.

Getting angry at somebody is the same as getting angry with a bike that just won't go. You should stop and start thinking.
A good mechanic will let you watch even without charging you for it. |
It is funny to know that we've been imitated and copied so well
and surprising when we notice our mistakes are copied as well.

It's almost same power as my current one. I want a bit more with a 3 digit comfortable cruising speed. I find 70-90kmph is comfortable on it. Above 90 it feels like it's pulling.I am looking for 100-120kmph comfortable cruising.

I have seen in some surveys that BMW bike segment engines are not that much reliable. According to that Yamaha was in first position and Honda,Suzuki in joint second position in term of reliable engine.

At those speeds you will get tired very soon. It is not about speed but how much you enjoy the ride and get along with the ride and nature. This is what matters at least to me.

You may be right , most long that I have done on my Fazer is around 400km at 70-90kmph. It was comfortable. So I am thinking may be a higher power engine can give me same with a bit higher KMPH.

Heck, it even has a large (21l) fuel tank .Do your research and do keep it as a consideration.

P.S. Mahindra's Two-Wheeler Service Chain might play a spoilsport; do check in your town.
I am not sure about this bike, initial reviews were good, when I saw long term reviews , they weren't that great. Parts and svc is an issue also as the nearest svc is more than 100km from here.

How about the Pulsar 220F? It is still one of the best selling Bajaj bikes! Well under your budget! You can invest in good safety gears

What is running in your mind? I can’t think of any new bike in that budget with reliability, safety and fun factor. Would you be looking at pre-owned bikes too?

I am thinking about Fazer250 , but haven't seen much reviews of it. I am thinking more into Japanese brands as a trust factor. I can increase my budget upto 2.5Lakh if I can get better bike.

Hyosung250? No? Since you’ve thought about F250, get deep into it. YouTube will come to your rescue for reviews.
Honestly I think there isn’t any bike that could do triple digit speeds safely in that budget.
Let us know what you decide in the end.🙂

Re: Need a bike around 2lakh

See, this engine is a KTM derived engine which is also detuned in a manner for long rides. Its rev happy engine unlike the conventional dtsi engine this engine stays the same even after long hours of running. People have done leh ladakh on it and without any damage came back with no problems whatsoever.
Therefore if you are a tourer then you should consider it in my opinion.
                        Hope this helps!

Not many reviews can be found for Fazer 25(you can PM the owners/take direct feedback from present owners visiting service centers for routine servicing). Should be almost similar to FZ25. The fairings are in addition to what the FZ25 has.
A bike on the road is worth two in the shed.
