Yeah black color isn't easy to maintain - what with the dust & scratches. A friend kept real good care of his black Pulsar 150 - he'd buy stuff for it like one buys stuff for his gf, every week something new to keep it clean, shiny & sparkling. Even 2 yrs down the road, you'd mistake it for something just off the showroom.Originally posted by MotoBlizzard View PostLast edited by Zapps; 06-22-2018, 07:28 PM.

That is the only motorcycle to suit him, everything else in his budget has POOR TORQUE DUE TO HIS WEIGHT OF 110 KGS! I don't mean to belittle the guy, but he shouldn't expect awesome torque from 150-180 cc motorcycles for his given weight. Hornet is the worst when it comes to low end torque and acceleration, it only performs in high revs kinda like R15. Gixxer is good only for lightweight riders, my overweight cousin also rides a gixxer naked version and he has to rev it a lot in traffic.Originally posted by #bpk View PostIf you can wait a little the go for xtreme 200
It will fulfill all your requirements
I would suggest him to drop ABS requirement, ABS isn't foolproof. You still need to keep the handlebar arrow-straight while applying the front brakes otherwise no amount of ABS will prevent an accident. ABS is only functional when you get SURPRISED on the road due to some gravel, mud, water, oil and your front tyre loses traction even though you kept the handlebar straight. Also you will never be able to adjust to non-ABS bikes due to your habit of riding an ABS one.
If you can't wait for the xtreme 200 then buy any of the FZ/Fazer variants, it has got fuel injected torquey engine, wide front and rear tyres which will provide better confidence and grip while braking. Oh and drop the comfortable rear pillion seat, you won't get it in any of the sporty motorcycles ever!

True, i own a 2018 hornet abs and it pulls only after 4.5k rpm, but abs is important, it has saved me 3 times [emoji4]. But as you said now i have fear to ride my non abs super splendor and honda aviator [emoji23][emoji23]Originally posted by arya809 View PostThat is the only motorcycle to suit him, everything else in his budget has POOR TORQUE DUE TO HIS WEIGHT OF 110 KGS! don't comment on my weight bro, lol. Well even if I get back to fitness(which I'm planning to do), my weight would not be under 90 kg. But yeah, Xtreme 200R makes sense coz I need a good torque range. Awaiting its launch eagerly now.Originally posted by arya809 View PostThat is the only motorcycle to suit him, everything else in his budget has POOR TORQUE DUE TO HIS WEIGHT OF 110 KGS!
