All the best, but I would still say your previous choice of going for a new one was better...

          1. Front wheel bent like crazy
          2. Rear wheel not alligned
          3. Cables jammed
          4. Scratches on the both the side of the fairing
Seems to me that its an accident bike... So no deal ...
Lets see what I have in my luck.. Have got two numbers from my friend who want to sell of their ZMA's..Will call them today and update the post

That is what even I have been thinking now..
Yesterday I was browsing through some classified on google where I found this guy who wants to sell off his July 2007 Red ZMA R as he says that he wants to buy a car.He left his number too.
I called him up and he said that he resides on Chembur, Mumbai and said that he is getting 55 for the bike and is expecting 60k.
He said that he has used to bike for close to 2 years now, no engine work done ever, bike had a fall just 3 months after he bought it and hence has changed the fairing.
He is Pune right now and said that he can show me the bike after 15th of this month by meeting him at Bandra....
              Is 60k rightly proced ???
I'll check the bike but mite not buy it cuz if I soend 60 k in 2nd hand, its worth to put 20k more and get a new one ...

              O.T : Any news of a 2009 Karizma ??

                An update :
Took my bike to the mech. SPoke to him for sometime before I could start to get her fixed, he suggested to sell it off as I am getting 35k for Pulsar 150 which is a very very good price and and book a new Unicorn...
He said that ZMA is a very good bike but asked me to avoid 2nd hand. Also said that the spares are to expensive...
Spoke to my mom too and even she suggested to sell it off and wait for about 3-5 months, collect some money and buy a Uni...
I have only one question in my mind which is not being answered by me ..
Am I doing the right thing ? Selling my current 150 to buy a new 150 ??? Damd confused ....

Fix ur bike. Go for the Uni only if u like it.
When everything comes ur way, u r in the wrong way ;)

I really like the Uni a lot... But I am just feeling that I would be wasting some money if I buy a uni cuz I am selling my P150 to buy a Unicorn... No power upgrade.... But yes, Uni is a a lot reliable bike than Pulsar ....
I am just sceptical that even if I fix my bike, it wont give my any maintainence issues cuz I am getting almost new engine i.e. new block piston, rings, valves, timing chain..

Suggest you test/borrow ride uni and then decide

@omkar : Please test ride Uni intensively, for an ex Pulsarian, Uni could be a boring tool, but there will be marked improvement in refinement, highway ride, smoothness of operation and overall trouble free biking.

Then go ahead and get a Uni. OR try for a second hand one.

very rare to find sensible mechanics
good that you found one and he gave spot on advice

moms mostly advice the right thingy
in about 3 - 5 month you might get a new model which is more advanced dude

                          and 35 k for a P150
sell it atleast cause it is evident that you are gonna sell it anyways
Hope is a good thing ,
may be the best of things and

Mostly a 21k ran ZMA will be in very good condition itself. If you have any friends who rides ZMA. Ask them to take a test drive, they can easily makeout the condition of the bike. 42 is a good price I must say.
It the tires are new , at the most you might have to change the chain sprocket (if its gone) and front disc pad if ur buying it. and may be a service too .So 1500 will have to spend on the ZMA in that case.
But still it will be a good deal if the bike is in good condition.

My cousin and a couple of friend have Unicorn. I have ridden their bike.. I agree its a lill boring when compared with Pulsar, but its really hell refined for sure.... I love that refinement a lot in it....

I think the bike was sold three days after I spoke to that dealer cuz its not to be seen since a long time now
