so let's put it this way that stunner fi does justify its price to a certain extent.. saying coz has introduced pgm-fi in its bikes for the 1st time plus the brand also has some weight (ref to quality!)

So now the list looks like this
      1- FZ-16/S & Unicorn
      2- Pulsar 180
      3- Stunner
      4- RTR 160/180

All I said is plain and simple, Honda has done a commendable job in getting the FI into a Commuters class.... It is like the introduction of Hybrids!

You have an opinion about the price, I have an opinion about the features to be a precise the FI....

          Yups, true....
I would love all the bikes, including the most selling 97ccs to be FI
But you cant price your disc pads at exorbitant prices wrt the competition..

You cant take unnecessary money from the market just because people worship your brand...

I had a fitting reply to this.... which involved pricing and poor chrome jobs, poor service, and cracking forks.... ! but I shall reserve it for future use....

Pricing? We want VFm products but we cry even if a product is priced affordable.Funny

Poor chrome jobs? Which Honda/Yamaha/TVS whichever brand u worship has chrome? Any chrome job would rust if not taken care of,more so in coastal areas.

Poor service? Which company provides consistent service in India?

All the 3 above points are subjective and un-related. Just that u didnt get anything else.

Cracking forks? Yes, Bajaj is not Honda or Yamaha who are manufacturing bikes for decades and who fine tuned their products among the decades.

The 200's forks did have a DESIGN FLAW . And all the 200's were called back and forks changed under warranty,as soon as the first case was reported and new forks were designed. AFAIK,that was just one Blue 200, belonging to a friend on mine in Ludhiana,PB. He is a full time stunter if u didnt know, and as it was a design flaw, the forks gave way during one of his stoppies.

Sad that u still keep barking "Broken forks"

@MODS : I know this post is OT, but just doing my part in spreading awareness to the ignorant. Delete it if u want to clean up this thread

P.S : My reply not necessarily for the poster(whose text i ve quoted) but for other people who would go by his myths!

Ironically, even I have those 'involvements'....
But probably our targeted manufacturers are different.........!

                Anyways, just for your reference...

@rishirazdan56 : If your mileage requirement is around 45kmpl then close your eyes and go for Unicorn. If mileage is not a worry then go for effzee!

well test rode FZ16, Unicorn and Stunner

FZ16 is in a diff league.. punchy, smooth and felt great...
Unicorn had a crisp ride.. felt as if i can depend on it.. only in grave circumstances it may let me down..
Stunner was more of the run of the mill ride.. it had a good sporty position.. that's all..

Now confused between FZ16 & Unicorn..
Yamaha dealer gave assurance of a 45+ mileage..

                          Guys give your verdict..

Expect the mileage to be in the region of 35 to 40, not more than that.

FZ-16 is definitely more fun to ride than the Unicorn&looks way better too. I am uncomfortable with the extra upright handle of the Unicorn&GS (or is it because I ride an R15). Anyways, FZ is fresh&new in the market, whereas Uni is not. So it would be a good choice for the next 3-4 years atleast.
On the other hand, the faired version of the FZ a.k.a. Fazer is coming next month, so wouldn't you wanna wait for that?
If you still like the naked look, the FZ is being offered at a discount of Rs.2500. Go ahead!
