Before commiting to any decision test ride the bikes. Before riding any bike you tend to have many opinions on a bike, but once you ride it you actually come to know about it and altough some bits remain you get a fairly decent idea of the machine and its compatibility with your specific requirements. So talking about the new zmr do take a test ride and then decide, it may be a completely different bike from its present avtaar. And Otherwise when looks stand tall in your preference list - you can definitely opt for the fazer.

personal feelings and an educated suggestion are two different things.

All I am saying is get a feel of the bikes yourself before making any decision.
I also asked on this forum itself which bike I should buy, but my decision was based 50% of people's opinions and 50% of my own experience with the bikes.

Thanks that you recognized it. How do you think that I am telling it as a fact?
Should I expect less power in the upgrade? Because the thread starter included the coming-to-be Zma FI in his options, I have given my opinion. Or should I tell him that the bike is going to have less than 17-ps power?

If you read my post, I clearly mentioned about the comparison about the performance. If somebody likes features, it is up to him to select a choice. Should not I tell my opinion, after all it is a public forum, and he asked for it.

Thanks for your comprehension.
Never expected this kind of post from you. Because I own a ZMA, does it mean I am adoring it? Do you think that I speak/suggest ZMA because I own it? Why would I suggest a P220, and why would I tell him to go and test ride the bikes? (read my post in the first page clearly). Sorry to tell you, but I am really disappointed at your jumping conclusions.

Thanks for your kind words. I resign here from participating in any discussion.

If you ask me this question, then I would say go for Fazer150 instead of Pulsar180 or Pulsar 220. We don't know when Bajaj will sack P180/P220 or both, you see today they have sacked P200 (shelf life ONLY 2 years) !!

I would suggest you to Test ride all the bikes you have listed and better take that final call once new Zma is launched.

PS: You could consider present Zma-R as also an option

Let me put some questions to you.
Are you really serious about a buy?
Is there any more bike you want to add to your list?
What exactly is your criteria for buying a bike?

I can't find any sense in your query listing almost all top end bikes and asking which one?

Dude if you have any preference or when you short list the bikes that you think are really confused between test ride it and decide rather just getting confused

+1 to that! You need to be more specific about your riding requirements&style, else someone may even suggest you a Bullet/Avy here!

As the comments above rightly put. You need to list your criteria, only then others can help provide more specific answers.
Current input from you is only as good as tossing a coin and pick one. I was able to narrow my choice and picked the ZMA-R without having to put up a single post. There is so much information out there. I just went through as much as possible till I was satisfied.
Though there is no harm in putting up a post listing your own requirement. We do enjoy engaging in such discussion. However you have not done so yet.

                            bikes

                            hi guys

i own a pulsar 150 classic for six years .. its a awesome bike i thrashed it but still its so super and few ppl are ready to buy it for a good price .... when i rode karizma R which my friend has i loved it so much ... its smoothness and comfort and power .. so i decided that i should get that bike .... but i was waiting for some new upgrades ... pulsar and Zma are two diff bikes with diff advantages and disadvantages we cant compare them at all ... my friend who owns a karizmaR loves to ride my pulsar 150 .. but i love to ride Zma ... i feel that i should have both the bikes .... a month before i decided to get a new bike ... i wanted to get zmaR ... when i was arranging money the new P220 dtsi came i fell in love with that ... i dunno to choose zma or p220 ... the value for money and technology p220 is ahead and reliability of bajaj is good as i have a p150 which i am riding ruffly for past six years and its awesome still ... so i decided to get p220 dtsi ... then a news came about new Zma ... this is the time i felt totally confused what i should get ... i had a doubt of gettinf P220 dtsi ... i was thinking all day and night what i should get ...then i felt p220 has the over all advantage ... cuz new zma will surely be costlier and the full fairing i am totally afraid cuz one fall it may damage it and in parking lots it will be totally damaged as my friends r15 suffered a lot of scratches ... as p220 is half fairing it doen't get affected much ... and p220 has good power with decent full black look ... zma may look better but p220 dtsi is more VFM ... so yesterday i went and booked a P220 dtsi ... but still i misss zma ... i really wanna have that bike too ... both the bikes are awesome on their own way ... if i have enough money i would get a zma ... i told all my friends that will book zma soon ... but now i have booked a pulsar ... none of my friends knows it .... so when u choose a bike see the price performance and look ... then close ur eyes and go by the way ur heart say ... just pick the bike ... my heart told p220 dtsi so i took .. u too will have some deep liking go for it ... ur life ur bike ur choice ... happy selection

just told my opinion guys dont scold me :-)
