The Wheel was a great invention; Two Wheels with a Motor in between was even better!

I don't understand how FZ16 popped up in your list when you don't like naked bikes.I think you were referring to the Fazer.and since you want a FASTER bike, the Pulsar 220 is the only worthy option from your list. The ZMR will be worth the wait though considering your budget...

I have a P220 DTSi, it's a good bike. However, I'd recommend you take a test ride on all bikes and then decide.

As for persistent rumors about ZMR, they are just that. It's a waiting game, if you're willing to play it, go for it, otherwise P220 is the best VFM in the market right now.

Yes, illusive ZMR fits to all your requirements (may be except the traffic thing) as it is supposed to :

              - be fast
              - be fully faired
              - be good touring machine (ZMA DNA)
              - be FI - which will help in touring specially @high altitudes
              - be in your budget
              - be never mind avg type too
              - look really good

SO I guess, you should wait for that or else P220 also have almost every traits(except FI and Full Fairing) I mentioned above.

Thanks for all your advice guys - Is the P220 going to handle well in traffic ? I will be using the bike 80% of the time for Commuting so that is very important ...

If going fast in a straight line is your concern go for the P220 by all means. Twistys and such are an altogether different ball game and so is the smoothness of the machine. I would suggest you go get a TD rather than base your purchase of opinions.

My vote would go for the FZ if commuting is a priority. It is one bike that'll let ya commute fast and in style.

                        ^^^
i agree with that. But since he hates nakeds,it's the Fazer for him...

@ashish:btw,P220 is not much of a problem in traffic and that too for your height.and as wheel spin suggested, you better take the bike for a test ride and then decide coz your opinion on the bike may differ from ours.

I dont know what is ment by power. Comparing isnt going to work. Any above 150 cc bike with chasis is good for touring. Coming to the city part you cant do anything if you are at the signal. FZ's series are good bike considering there weight, stability, speed & control. I have reached 120 kmph in my FZ. Beyond that it is very hard due to insufficent air flow. What does a P220 or ZMA do. May be 130(dont know for sure). Just 10 km differents is a small thing.

FZ is good for commuting i own one. but Price to speed ratio i am dying for P220 on my hands! as per review of zigwheels the new P220 handles much better, give it a test ride and decide. I though read fazer is a bit more comfortable than FZ but its not that nimble due to changed handle bars.

The last statement i don't agree... coz i also own an FZ and had done many touring and city riding as well... i had done a max of 113kmphr on my FZ, and so i can definitely say after a +105kmphr is way too for FZ... and i used my friends ZMA for more than one week and 120 mark is way too simple when compared to FZ, so comparing an FZ to a P220 or ZMA on the basis of top speed is never an answer...

@Topic starter... my opinion is ZMA, even though it's not on ur list... it's an awesome bike to ride...
