@All: Don't you think the thread starter should come up with some more inputs as to what his riding style, usage conditions&preferences are? IMO That would make it easier for anyone to suggest which would suit him better!

Exactly the FZ is a bike that grows on you. She is such a practical delight to own.

I hope you know that the 220 has much more torque than the FZ. What makes you think FZ is torquier than 220?

220 produces more torque than the 'junior' FZ...
                    1.95kgm@7000 v/s 1.42kgm@7500 ...

and the 220 even produces it 500 RPM before than the fazer...

anyday with 70 more CC's, 7.04 more PS, and combined with little more torque the 220 is far more gruntiar than the FZ...

                    Period.

Later!... you can make a Fz go almost as fast as P220, but you cannot make a P220 handle as good as Fz does

I am sure you can do that with mounting a higher capacity more powerful engine.

About the handling , it seems 220 is highly under rated here.(Not talking about the tracks at all)

                                Same I said bro.
Fz holds lot in the package, much more than people think.
But my sour head's point of view says - P220 makes u grow out of the shell more than Fz.

A Word To Thread Starter -
Brother, some people buy R1's and Hayabusa's. They keep these machines in their bedroom, polish them every 2nd day and finally take it out on weekends.
                                Where?
They just take a ride to nearby mall
Or they start their bike go to nearby vegetable shop, buy some "aloo's" and come bck home, enjoying every eye glued on their mean machine, finally they place their R back in bedroom!
                                Why?
Just to reapeat the same routine next week!

There are some other people too,who buy the R1!
Very next day of purchase they bring it on track to enjoy every single thump of adrnaline in the mill..
When satisfied bring it back home, polish it,and next day they again go out, enjoying every bit of their babe!
Exploring what else their R can do,passing on the heaviest of traffic with breeze or zooming past every object(cars etc) on highways!
Leaning on 180's or doing rollings on 250's!

So whats the diffrent between two?
The first one is a Poser Boy!
The bike is just a show of for him..
Even A hero Puch would serve the purpose of buying aloo's
Thats a terrible waste of bike!

Second one is justifying a Biker!
He bought the bike because the bike serves his purpose.
He bought the bike because it is way he uses the bike, for the way this bike is made to be used!
Thats the awsome use of Bike!

                                Hope u understood..So its upto u..
Decide which bike serves ur purpose!
Make it awsomly usable insted of terribly usable..
