    Blue color also has a waiting of 4-5 days he said. DYNO run was awesome, the sound from the exhaust and all, i loved it ripping the red 220.

          Yups, will head to Karol Bagh after booking the bike to get a good Helmet around 2-2.5k and Gloves around 2k. Where in xbhp can i ask from members about these things?

          IF i book a red, will get delivery same day. Dad will bring bike home and then its all mine.

              congoz!!!color is a totaly personal and subjective thing. IMO go for blue. red is also gud but i prefer blue. for info on helmets go to helmets thread in universal threads

                Thanks a lot. I got the exact address now where i can look for riding gear which is the most importan thing acc to me. Will head there after getting the bike.

                Yeah, if Blue is readily available next week then i will go for it. IF theres a waiting, then i will go for Red. Cant wait now. Hadnt it been school till Fri, the keys would have been in my hand.

                Have to first sell my ACTIVA, going to get quotes for it and sell it away.

                    Got a quote of 16k by mechanic, if PBK gives anything close to it then i will give it to them in exchange as it will be less hassles for me too.

                    All the while the 220 DTS-i thread is cropping with problems which is sinking my heart , hope the Delhi 220'ians are happy with their machines.
                    Pray i get a good piece, looking a like a lottery, getting a 220 DTS-i problem free.

                      The bike might have some small problems but it is great to ride.I have learnt that one should wait for sometime after a bike is launched,coz my apacheFi was from the first lot and had problems and still has them

                        On sat evening or Sun morning (have to confirm with our Bandhav) i will go to CP PBK and book the bike.

                        Just got a call from CP PBK and a lady appointed by Bandhav said theres a waiting of 7-10 days on P220 . Man how can life be so cruel, she even said that its on all colors. Damn Damn....
                        The Vasant lok PBK said i will get ready delivery for RED and SILVER colors, aren't the bike quota joint for both PBK?
                        Calling Vasant lok pbk now to get status update. Am payin cash down still a wait for 220. I cant wait any longer now.

                        Called Rashid at vasant lok PBK and he says he has 220's ready delivery in all colors, Red/Blue/Black and if i book before 4:00 PM he will give delivery same day. What to do guys now? You tell me? Isnt the registration takes time? How can delivry happen same day, wont the cops stop me?
                        Am confused like hell, one pbk gives ready delivery and other takes 7-10 days but a member of xbhp is manager there. What to do mates?

                          Do insist on MRF/IRC tyres only.
                          Advice is a form of nostalgia.
                          Dispensing it is a way of fishing the past from the disposal, wiping it off, painting over the ugly parts and recycling it for more than it's worth.

                            Man if i had that 75k cash i would have walked and jogged 15 kms away to the pbk myself and booked the bike. Will get it tomorrow evening only so booking will happen Sat only.
                            I will choose Red/Black/Blue whatever is available readily with MRF's.

                            As the registration happens next day, so does it mean i can go and choose my BIKE out of the 4-5 standing there? Any tips on choosing 1 out of the lot with MRF's for sure?

                            Said to salesman i dont want TVS tyres, he said "Sir- TVS 220 mein aate hi nahi ". Will get MRF's only. Also is there anyway we can check mfg month on 220?
                            For car;s its VIN no is it their on bikes too? Pray i get a non leaking oil and niggle free bike LOL.

                              as i think FZ is much comfortable to ride around in city and even your height problem also get solved and its not that hevy like p220 or rtr ...you can handel the bike more better then any

                                Dont like the looks of the FZ, rode my friend's Fazer a few days back, i liked the looks a lot. The ride felt uninspiring, the torque at lower revvs wasnt good eough to pull the beast in higher gears. I felt the engine underpowered for the Fazer.
                                After ripping a P220 on Dyno, there was a lot of diff between driving dynamics which i could feel even though am a novice at biking.
                                I mean my heart didnt agree to put on 80k for it, its a big sexy heavy bike and 14bhp isnt enough for it. No offence to anyone.
                                Even a owner on tbhp agrees that Fazer is underpowered. If my dad at 88 kgs sits on the Fazer with 65 me, kya hoga uska?
                                Have finalised the 220.

                                Know what dad says he wont allow me a red color as he also wants to ride the bike and he would feel odd on a red bike. LOL. He wants it 1 day in every week.
