ok....so I get to choose btw 2 bikes.........rtr180 and p220.........I like the 220 more but I'm not reluctant to say ...it is a big bike and I'm a bit afraid of it

So what about costs??.....I mean the p220 comes around 77000 on road in delhi...anybody got any idea about the rtr180??

And I read on many places that the bajaj bikes have always had problems in the gearbox??also that the bajaj service quality is pitiable....any truth in these statements??

the p220 gives around 35-40kmpl how does the rtr180 performs on the mileage front??

^^ You can test ride both the bikes and decide.
The RTR 180 is a bit cheaper than the 220.
If you maintain the bike properly, the problems will be minimum.
The RTR 180 would give a mileage around 40-45 kmpl.

you could consider the stunner. it wont be a bad bike either. but no where near the performance of the P220 or the RTR. I would strongly recommend the Fazer, it looks super neat and handles well too, but you are not keen on it.

Get the APACHE 180 seriously.... P220 is not a novice bike...... and apache is almost equal to p220 but its handling is better....

Why don't you check out apache rtr 180???? It has good sporty looks as well as extremely maneuverable in city. Do take a test drive of all the bikes and then decide which one you like.

Dont like the fazer much.........although I really do like the apache 180 rtr.........but I read somewhere that the TVS srichakras that it has arent any good....it that so??.......I took the rtr 180 out of my list beacause of the tire issue only
Hmm. I buy a bike regardless of the fact somebody else close to me has brought it. Infact when i had my RTR, my closest buddy had an black RTR too.

hmmm 74k.......maybe 73k in delhi.......thats not too less than the 77k of the p220 now is it??

So I think it would make more sense to get the p220 and get that fastest indian tag with me..........anyways will take test runs for both and keep you guys posted....Chao

The bike's got to have atleast a 150 cc engine, the fairing in karizma/stunner i.e. the fixed headlamps thing is preferred. I'm not looking for too much power, But a good looking sporty bike is what I want. Fuel efficiency required is >40(atleast although I'm a student so higher the better ). I'll be traveling around 40 kms a day, all in city traffic conditions.

P.S. The 150cc engine criterion maybe overlooked in cases of stunner/r125(if the r125 gets launched in India). Also I am willing to wait a little so you may include bikes that are expected to launch.
I don't think R125 will not be launched in India (as it will compete with r15), forget about it. I would suggest you to test ride these bikes and decide...

                          3. CBZ Xtreme

CBZ-X can easily deliver 45 kmpl in normal city drive (personal experience), 40 kmpl at 80+kmph speeds.
