Any more tall R15 riders care to give a feedback on how good or bad living with the bike is,day to day?

I don't know if i've already said this in this thread but when i test rode the R15 i had problems with up-shifting, my feet were sloping too much i.e. the gear lever is a bit higher than my toes so it wasn't comfortable at all. This is one of the major reasons i bought the P220 instead. I'm exactly 6ft tall btw.

Thats racing position uttam, not meant for long rides. But around 15 Mumbai xbhpians have R15, mostly big time tourers.

COMFORT: R15>P220 (my personal experience/opinion, may differ from person to person)

I owned R15 for 17000 kms, I think I am elegible to post a reply here.

I am 6ft, Yes R15 looks funny for this height....But Its no way uncomfortable on highways. Done lots of touring on R15 without any backache or wrist pain. Its an over all perfect bike in my opinion. Braking..its the best with its competetion quite far from it. By vote will go to R15 here. As KP (hydbiker) said..R15 needs you to work with it.

Coming to bumper to bumper traffic with R15...you got to change your riding position if you get a R15, As said already...R15 needs you to work with it. There are good posts by OldFox on proper riding posture already in the forum that will be evry helpfull. Since you will be upgrading from a normal commuter bike...Wrist pain will be there initially, but once you set you riding posture and get used to it, it will be gone. And backpain..As said already I never faced it on R15. bent elbows, relaxed shoulders will help you a lot.

For day to day city traffic, I prefer a ZMA (I am not suggesting ZMA) over R-15. But, you can work with R-15 and make it comfortable. If you cant get the right position, it will give you all kinds of pain. Eventually, after spending sometime with her, you will get the correct riding position.

Yup it is. But if you position yourself well then the lever is correctly placed. It's feels like the bike has slots for your body parts. Once you get in,it's a snug fit. Now I know why they call it Humachine Technology.

That's because the R15's seat is much more comfortable for the bottom than the P220. It's like sitting on a pillow.
The P220's handlebar and riding stance are more comfortable for tall riders.
Overall both the bikes balance out their fortes in comfort.

Thanks anna. I was going for the ZMA until I saw the R15 in racing yellow.

I will be going for the R15,god willing.Else the P220 in case dad orders a budget cut. I have had a test ride on both recently and it's a win-win situation with both.
Getting my funds in order. Have been saving up for this one. Didnt want dad footing all the bill. Wanted some part of my own in this bike.
                      Wish me luck.

that maybe possible, though am not sure about it that height can be a problem with bikes!

And yes Racing yellow in R15 looks dashing, no doubt

I did have a chance to ride one of my friends R15 again recently and i will take my words back. As you said, after slotting into the bike you feel like you're part of it .. I myself and anyone with general biking knowledge will agree the the technology put into this machine is just outstanding and ahead of the times in our country. I strongly believe, that if you go for the R15 you should have absolutely no issues for a very long time to come. Looks wise, its a beauty and i prefer the racing colors, or the initial black/matte black theme. The one i rode recently had the rear tire from the Fz-16, and surprisingly it didn't hamper performance one bit! 130 came up before i knew it and cornering was easier than the stock tire .. Beautiful bike, go for it
