It's really tough to predict what degree of vibrations you will experience in the prone areas as it varies from bike to bike. And no the seats dont vibrate. The vibration zones are the handlebars/fairing buzz/ and the rear pillion footrest. But then, it all depends how you go about rectifying and how well u maintain your bike.Initially i faced the vibration issues but later after checking and ironing out the prone areas and switching to semi-synthetic engine oil the vibrations have almost disappeared.

FZ can't even hold a candle to the CBZ-Xtreme.Leave alone the RTR 160/180.Touring spirit/Lord of the streets is just a marketing gimmick and i feel sorry for those people who fall for it after taking those lines seriously. The FZ/Fazer are beautiful looking bikes and they are second to none when it comes to eye-candy.But If you crave for stonking performance-handling-VFM package then the RTR is the way you should look for or else it has to be the P220-S!!

rtr 180 ....... truly its a awsome piece of machine and i never thought tvs can make such good bikes....

Vibrations dude people buy vibration recliner couches from osim for 1-3lks

ur getting it for free he he

            on a serious side..........

rtr is a proven vehicle read some ownership reviews and i would suggest you to go for a test ride again if u havent before......

as chinane has already explained so beautifully their are many reasons for vibrations and it can be soughted out....

            all the best...

              @ Thread starter,

The best bike would be the RTR180 as i feel if there is a bike after R15 which can beat off all competitors than its Apache 180, just keep the bike on 6000 Rpm and then see the bike taking lead like a king.

I testrode all bikes from herohonda, honda, yamaha, bajaj and the TVS stable.

somehow i also felt in love with the apache RTR 180 performance

hey dude, in my personal opinion cut the gs 150 out, i own the 220 faired edition. as u asked bout the strret fighter pulsar 220, i would suggest you not to go in for that, but go in for the apache 180, the riding posture of the 180 is really awesome, same with the exhaust note, its music to evry bikers ears. As u dont like the 220 faired versions look, the apache 180 looks much better than the 220 S. my advice would be with the apache 180 in terms of:-
                1)LOOKS
                2)POWER
                3)RIDING POSTURE
                4)OVERTAKING ABILITIES.

Go in for the apache 180 and you will not regret!
when the strech is empty, my bike tells me to wring its throttle and give my commands!

Remember if you need only a bike for City usage nothing beats the FZ.. it is so much flickable through traffic (and indian traffic you know how it is) no bike can beat it in terms of that... the handling is just too much perfect.. But after 110 it sucks... it is like dragging the bike after that to 120.

Apache 180 is not much flickable but when the traffic is gone and open roads comes it beats the shit out of FZ , P180 on streets.... The engine sound is too great of apache, the torque is awesome.. I just took it for a long ride today and I liked it very much..

Pulsar 220 is also great.. P220 reaches 120 on 4th gear lolz... speeds of 135 is like normal for this bike.. but in traffic it is so big and heavy that it is not much flickable..

flickable for me is cutting through the traffic doing criss cross cuts..

                  FZ= STREETS 70% - HIGHWAY or OPEN ROADS 30%

                  APACHE 180 = STREETS 60% - HIGHWAY or OPEN ROADS 40%

                  P220 F= STREETS 40% - HIGHWAY or OPEN ROADS 60%

listed in increasing order of more power..

Percent means how good they are.. so choose what you need more..

+1 to Chicane, apache all the way. I loved my Classic apache when i had it.
Absolute pleasure to flick through the city & the 180 is icing on the cake with loads of power right down from the very bottom all the way to redline..

Regarding vibes, even R1's, Ninja's vibe, bro, thats the character of a bike, if you are concerned about vibes, throw rest all & buy a Unicorn

I liked the white one too, just that I am not very keen on cleaning the bike often and maintaining it in pristine condition.

All my family members and my girl friend liked black - so you can imagine
