    Karizma R or Fazer

    Hi guys.
    Im goin to buy a bike and i have karizma and fazer in mind.
    But im very confused on which one to buy.
    My priorities are :
    1.Comfort and handling
    2. Mileage.
    3. Performance and stability.
    4. Low Maintanance .

    I will ,mostly drive the bike in city and at times will go for touring.
    Also please add your views and suggestions about the two bikes and which one can be better for me to go.
    Help me guys.

    I find that both bikes fit your riding requirements. The Fazer is a better handler than the Zma. But the Zma is way faster. Take a test ride!

      At the money you would be spending (~80k), ZMA is a better bike all the way.
      2002 - Pulsar 150 Classic (Still owned)
      2005 - Pulsar 150 Dtsi (Still owned)
      2006 - Eterno (sold)
      2008 - Dio (Owned)
      2009 - Pulsar 220 DTSi

        you will soon get over the looks , Karizma's power will not disappoint .
        similar mileage ,similar high cost of spares [though zma might be a tad more expensive]
        Zma has much higher power and torque , is a proven tourer and is stable at high speeds .

        fazer has digi console ,tubeless tires , monoshock , better handling and braking in its favor . take your pick !

              Zma is better VFM, but can'nt see much life for it. poor service ,spares in small cities etc..

              Wish Fazer come with a bigger mill

                    Why are you not considering Pulsar 220?it is a good bike will good power delivery,but zma is definitely a tourers dream bike!spare parts are expensive though!

                      In my opinion ZMA has to be the choice! period. Both bikes are 80K+ and a 150cc air-cooled 13.8 bhp producing Fazer engine is not worth it barring the styling and looks which are great.(personal opinion not to be taken offence to). If u are going to spend 80K + better for the 225cc proven ZMA.
                      Infact apart from the price tags a fazer cannot come close to the ZMA in any other aspect.

                      P.S.- If you are looking for some serious bang for your buck the pulsar 220 can be a option in that price-range
                      RIDE IT LIKE YOU STOLE IT!!!

                          If you do not want serious performance, if you ride most of the times in city with occasional touring (not serious touring), if you like the gadgets on Fazer and its looks, Fazer is the one for you.

                          If you want some serious performance, and you want to really 'enjoy' the touring, the most reliable Karizma is the choice for you.

                            i have some more queries..
                            what is the mileage we can get in both karizma and fazer in city and highways?

                            regarding suspension which ones is better?karizma or fazer?
                            also fazer has wider tyres and karizma got thinner(relatively).how it wil affect the bikes?which one is better for which kind of riding?
                            also what is the speed range in which karizma gives good mileage?

                              ZMA-R is the one for you.. The Fazer has nothing other than the looks.. Go for the ZMA..
