i took the test drive of both fazer and karizma 225 today..
the difference was wonderfull(obvious).. i liked karizma 225 very much compared to fazer(personal opinion)..
i enquired about the waitin period.. dealer said it wil take 30 days.
which dealer is best to get bike from pune guys? i enquired in SEHGAL autoriders, chinchuwad.

What do you mean by this???? you talking about the Karizma R or Karizma ZMR? i get so confused with the names sometimes, sorry... please enlighten me lol

The engine of the Karizma is way superior to Fazer/FZ with the only deterrent being gasket leaks but you can always overlook it,

The Karizma's spares are obscenely expensive and the quality that comes attached with it makes it rubbish

Its a really tough call to make, if the Karizma's engine came with the Fazer/FZ then simply nothing like it,

gaskets don't leak, they cause leak and it is not everyday that gaskets do leak,
and anyways a Fazer/FZ rider can just grumble about the fact that Karizma disappeared into the distance and he can't do a damn thing about it.

and anyways the advise wasn't meant for you(or for anyone who thinks R1 is a direct copy from M1 and R15 is a mini R1 which implies that R15 replicates M1 to some extent)

after riding a 200 cc+ bike, When I ride fz series it feels like somebody is pressing on the neck while trying to open throttle.

today i booked Karizma R with 5k advance in Pune..
dealer said that waiting period is 30-35 days.. hope i will get the beauty within that time.
what is the normal waiting time for Karizma R now?

Congrats buddy... when my friend booked his ZMA 2 years before they told 20 days, but he got it after one & half months... don't know what's the waiting period now...

Same was the case with me, first time i was buying a bike with my earned money and wanted to keep the bike for atleast 3-4 years. I bought a Karimza - R (ZMA-R)

It depends, if the colour you booked is available in the ware house, then 1 week (i got mine in 1 week including registration), else it taken 20-25 working days to get it(including registration).

P.S. : Registration and passing is 2-3 day process at the RTO

when i got my karizma R 6 months back, the show room guys said that the waiting period is 30 days, but i got it in 20 days

and never the less, you made the right choice bro
Karizma is one of the best bikes on indian roads
you wont regret taking a karizma
