After years of waiting I can now buy a bike of my choice. My price range is 1-1.5lac. However I am not sure which bike to go for - another Heart vs Brain fight.
I am looking for a machine that can keep going for miles and miles at an easy pace without breaking down and brings out the joy of riding. I am 5'7", 65 kg, stated riding on the good ol splendor. I have some experience on Pulsars, hunk and a few other bikes in 100-150 cc segment (isn't that what friends are for?)
My heart was set on C5 the day I saw it. Actually the one-sided love affair with Bullets stated with my uncle's bullet when I was hardly 5 but that's another story. In spite of my not particularly heavy built body I am somehow confident that handling this thumper won't be too difficult. The only thing that puts me off is build quality, maintenance and reliability. I had a habit of regularly adjusting every last nut and bolt on my splendor and checking it's effect. Even though an Enfield is an entirely different class I think I can learn to do the basic tuning and maintenance on C5 too, but the the posts on C5 ownership thread regarding the build quality of Enfields simply scared the hell out of me.
The second bike I am considering is R15, I don't like to rev my bike hard (I so wish Yamaha comes out with a 200-250 cc bike soon) but the exceptional handling, quality and reliability does it for me.
The looks of Karizma and Pulsar 220 simply don't excite me and thus are out of equation.
I would appreciate any help in deciding the right choice for me.

.. nowadays Enfield bikes are better in Quality also.
. Well bulls won't give that big problems. Not these days atleast. RE has notched up its build quality. You won't have much problem I guess. And the 500 is one hell of a bike. It nice, sturdy and powerful machine
.
. The R-15 would have suited me ideal but not sure about the bullet.
