  • Xbhpian. For Real.

    Good evening Bikers,
    (Warning: Long post)

Am Mohan Raj and am from Chennai i have been a passive member of Xbhp since 2008.Whoever said drugs were addictive, Xbhp is more addictive than that..Trust me there wasn't a single day i haven't missed going through the forum since i joined..I was doing my UG when i joined and my hand used to itch every time i read a Xbhp GTG or a getting Leh'd trip log..

Xbhp taught me several things about the fun of being a real biker... To be honest let alone wearing a jacket, wearing a helmet and riding was the last thing i would do before i joined Xbhp ... Now Mods please dont kick me out for that...

Everything about me as a biker changed my perspective about fellow commuters and bikers on road changed... I encouraged my friends to wear helmet and ride safe... Street racing was a definite No No.. My knowledge about bikes is limited but am certainly not a noob.. And after i joined Xbhp i learnt quite a lot.. There are certain fellow members i whom i really Respect a lot, not because of their seniority but because of the way they respond to genuine queries...

Aparajith was the first Xbhpian whom i spoke to through Pm and via phone, I asked him a series of questions regarding the rent of MMSC for a practice session to which he promptly replied without getting irritated.. Thanks Man..

And the second person to whom i spoke to was the founder of Race Concepts,
yeah Joel Joseph.. My bro bought a RTR Fi back then which i wanted to hot rod with my brothers money though... Little did i expect i would have a spill the very next day after he bought his bike.. There goes my plans of souping up his bike with his own money for me to rip... He wouldn't even lend me his bike after that... Joel is a soft guy like most ppl who met him say he replies to all your stupid questions patiently...Again Thanks man...

Old Fox sir,Killer, Satyen (My daily dose of sarcasm),Online sathish (Lucky bugger almost got a brand new RTR using warranty),PSR sir,Praful, Chicane,Nanotechnology,Stefanm,Payeng,Julian Paul,Abhimanyu, Digislayer,Kwokfist, Santa(santoosh),Nav75,Gixxer junkie.. These fellow Xbhpians have been really helpfull.. Thanks everyone.. your presence in this forum is much appreciated...

Sorry guys i dont know how to tag your names..

To me seniority is not about your join date or your no of posts its all about how sensible you are while posting and how usefull your posts are...

Now there are some members on this forum whom i really doubt would contribute to improving biking in our country.. for eg there is this particular member in Xbhp who posts WHATEVER that comes to his mind and would append it with i dont know, what was he really thinking.? There are some others who just love arguing and prove whatever they have said is right even if what they have said is far from it... And not to forget the i know it all type of guys.. If only ppl like him could stop spamming, Xbhp would be a better forum...I stopped posting here because i wanted to buy a bike before being part of the community... Now i got a job and i own a ride, an RTR 160 which i have always loved for the over-square engine and its ability to take abuse..

My next step would be to soup it up which would take some time as am working as a trainee with no salary for 3 months.. I just hope Joel wouldn't discontinue parts for the current RTR anytime next year...

A forum is a place where people exchange ideas and respect others views and not insult or abuse him..He might know something which you might not know.. Let us share our knowledge..
Hoping to have a wonderful stay here..
Thanks for taking your time to read my long intro.

    Cheers,
    Mohan

@Mohan - Your intro did not stop about little yourself, but more than that. You have pointed out some valid observation which is exactly running in my mind. Ride Safe.

Welcome Mohan ,and a nice Intro...Every now and then most threads run astray or run aground. It is the collective interest of many knowledgeable members that keep them going..so be prepared for the dull with the exiting...
Hope you will start contributing to the threads of your interest and remain active.
                    Wish you well always

                            1. You mean Satymaza in that case YOU are guilty of thinking that he is thinking and writing. Infact given the ip logs we could probably prove that its not even 'he' but an inanimate bot!
                            2. Congratulations on the job and the bike! Great choice on the bike!!

Actually I had once checked his previous posts list. 183 of his last 200 posts at the time were one-liners. Not that the ratio would have changed much now. These one-liners may or may not be ending in . But there wasn't a second line.

                              Anyways @Mohan. Welcome to xBHP.

@Mods isn't there a rule against one-liners? There is one at 'some other'bhp.com I tend to frequent these days.
