Introduction Approved.
Welcome Arjun. My humble opinion is that you should not start biking on the Duke 390 itself. It seems a bit on the higher side, so if at all you do so, please start riding under an experienced rider's supervision.
And we don't think you should break rules like that. Get a license after a year or two, and then only ride motorcycles. There's no hurry.
Wish you all the best.

i too am thinking on the same lines as you and think the duke 200 will be powerful enough.
I cant wait for 1 or 2 years as i need a bike for commuting to and fro college but will start riding on public roads only after 2-3 months of riding expierence and training. Thanks for the advice

Coming as a basic , i advice you first to go with well practice, and ride a bike with low cubic capacity (like Honda Shine Fz for few days & u see first people learn driving in a Maruti-800 rather than a toyota Innova or Verna Crdi, which flies in airOriginally posted by Arjun Leopard Bohtan View PostHello to all fellow XBHPians

Looking forward to biking and XBHPing
Hope to learn a lot in the coming months about biking
Cheers
First do practice well, do plan your rides carefully, and the traffic situation is getting worse day by day, so stay cautious on roads, Buy a high quality riding gear, then after getting perfect with a bike, you can even get a Hyosung Gt-250R.
Ride Safe...!!
Cheers...!!
