  • From ThunderBird to CBR250R

    Dear All,

I am Aditya from Chandigarh, I started a thread some time back seeking help regarding selecting my new ride as I was unhappy with the ThunderBird.

Thanks to the prompt response of the xBHPians, I brought my girl home, the HONDA CBR250R C-ABS in sweet Pearl Heron Blue.

Since I brought her, she has became a eye catcher on and off the road. People stop to ask me about her. Even a cop stopped me to ask about her!

I am scared that she might get some scratches/ dents because of "buri nazar" of the people.

She is a complete package. Power, speed, technology, comfort, safety, looks, peace of mind (5 years warranty)..

What have I gained over Thunderbird?

She is good in the corners, ride is more confident. Surprisingly, she is more comfortable too!
She uses the technology that Royal Enfield will take light years to reach..
    Peace of mind.
Front and Rear NISSIN disc brakes
    PGMFI, Liquid cooling
    Combined Anti Lock Braking System!!!!!!!!!
    and trust of Honda.

What have I lost with ThunderBird?

    Cruiser. Classic look.
    "Dug dug dug"

    So, a fair deal!!!

    Thank you to xBHPians!!!!

Will write a review of the bike after spending some time with her....

P.S. No offence to anyone, these are all my personal opinions.

Congrats buddy. I guess you have made a wise decision in going for the CBR over the thunderbird. May you have many safe miles of riding.
