Hello Guys, I am Tapo.
Me and my friend (ridding pillion) on RE Thunderbird 350, are travelling to Kolkata from Mumbai on 10th September 2015.
I have been following xBhp since the time I was planning to get the RE (early 2013).
Undoubtedly, its the bikers' wiki.
We have been planning and exploring various options for our journey.
We observed that this route is very less explored, also considering the means (motor cycle) we are using.
I came across few good articles, though quite old,

So, to sum it up, I did not come across as much information as I would like to have, compared to my other previous travel routes.
I am assuming that this part of the country is comparatively less explored and I think it will be a good idea to grow a community and share as much data we gather during the trip.
Yup, I am engineer. Data is what we feed on.
Thus, I am looking for good ideas to start a thread where it could have maximum visibility.
I want to know if I need to create this thread under any specific / multiple communities.
Also, what tags needs to be associated with it for easy search.
As we are travelling this distance for the first time, I would like to have some tips and discussion about itineraries and gears. Though I already have noted a few.
We shall also be sharing our plans and trip pics on that thread.
