Hi Mithun...there was nothing to resist. I was not absconding because I had anything better to do...or because I wanted to prove a point. I was genuinely bummed that the MT01 dream wasn't happening...and that the forums went away for a few weeks along with a bunch of my old posts.

Anyway...I'll be posting more about the Teezer in the 2 stroke forum - see you guys in there

Hi - I thought I updated the Xbhpians...I sold my Busa last summer. The money paid for my Europe holiday (Belgian F1 Grand Prix, Driving around the Nurburgring in a sports car etc.) so it was well worth it in the end. I had to choose between staying in India for my career...or moving to the US for the Busa...and it looks like I made the right choice

Maybe someday they will drop the duties and I'll be able to afford the big-bird again.

Oh it is fantastic. I'm letting the RX go because it is just too tiny for my substantial bum. The others are here to stay

I hope you sometime bring the screamer to the track someday, i've heard almost mythical stories about it, well you have one don't you so who better to clarify than thyself? Is it true that a TZR can tail a R1 and can possibly overtake it too, negating the riders experience??

I seriously doubt that unless you are on a very fiddly track. It is quick...but nowhere close to liter bike quick. It will be easier to ride on the limit than an R1 so maybe an average rider will do better lap times with the Teezer around MMSC...but this needs to be tested.

                Akhil - are you game?

Somehow, didn't catch the update! Also, your posts seem incomplete without it's mention! But in the end, the money was well spent ...btw which sports car did you drive around Nurburgring?

Track prepped Suzuki Swift Sport and BMW 330i. I drove around the ring in torrential rain and slippery conditions...it was the best day of my life. Soon after Nurburgring I drove up to Kerpen and did 4 races on both the indoor and outdoor tracks at Schumi's karting center (all in the same day).

Welcome back, and CONGRATS for the TZR !!
Incidentally I was looking at a TZR for a friend of mine a couple of weeks back.
That was also opened up but the mechanic selling it was not able to convince us about its performance.
                      BTW, where r u located ?
                      PM me your cell #.

I doubt whether you'll believe me or not but there is a race-spec Yamaha TZ250 lying in a garage of my friend's shop minus it's front fairing among a Ducati 916, it is supposed to put out a total power output of 80bhp!! (BTW how much is yours??). We used to go to the garage just so that we could drool at them.

P.S.: I hope you get that TZR thread open soon, i'm itching for some pics

That Ducati 916 is really butchered...I shed a tear when I saw what a bunch of gorillas had done to what was probably one of the most beautiful motorcycles ever made.

                                That is a TZ250...mine is a TZR...VAST difference!!

Dude...if the ONE isn't ready - just bring the R15 and experience brake failure on turn 8
