I am in. However, I will bring my dad's TVS Victor if you guys plan to get my hands real dirty. My dazzler is very much new for me to take any sort of risks.
However, I will decide on it.

Sounds good. We can have some initial sessions by aargee and then take it to the next level with a Mechanic.
I am tied up this entire month expect on 23rd and 24th. Lets discuss more on the dates on our sunday g2g.

@Ananth: Since quite a few are interested in this activity, shall we have detail chat during our coming weekend G2G? Let me know if you are available.

You will never learn unless you know your bike. I'm not forcing you, But I guess its better if you ride in with your bike & just learn the basics for the first meet & eventually learn more in the coming meets with a mechanic & all.

Ragav, This would mostly be a recurring event. So if not for the first meet, You can always join in later.

Proceeding methodically and in small steps will make the learning trouble-free.

This could be featured in the mag in the DIY section. As for the procedures, just follow those outlined in the DIY for the forum. Document each action with pictures and related text.

Why not. If you know some good mechanic, get him in. You guys can pool in and give him a honorarium too.
OF Sir, As said - For the initial meets it would be to know one's bike & know the basic DIY methodologies. As we learn better we would start up with more in detail DIY practices. We are in process of getting a few local Mechanics to help us with this.

This thread would have all the details & pictures on what ever we had learned out of the DIY GTG.

I'm definitely in and i'll also participate.

For the time, i guess sunday mornings (Like our other G2G) would be fine. But i'm more curious as to the location, because we cant have this meet in front of Cozzee.
Place & Time would be discussed later. Thanks for the confirmation. Your Bike alone needs a week to know in detail on what have been modified & changed

I would like to take this topic during our weekly meet & Point Calimere. We will need to get everybody's ideas and availability to start with the first session. It's time that we plan the first simplest activity during the month of Nov 2010. FYI:-Mumbaikars have already taken interest and organizing similar DIY meet (check their offline G2G).
