A very good and safe biker not only because he can pop up either of the wheels, scrape his knees on a corner or go fast and make it look stylish but because he very well knows his limits and capabilities and has the patience to learn about others and ride safe ! :)

I happen to have done a lot of keede on my bike and in the process ended up learning a few things. I'd be happy to answer queries regarding a Pulsar's electrical system mainly. Also HIDs, horns, relays, wiring, etc is what I know.

        First DIY session !

The wait seems unending and I guess its high time we atleast give it a start following the philosophy "Something is Better than Nothing" !

I propose, the first xBhp-Mumbai DIY session to take place on

        6th Feb, 2011 (Sunday)

Venue : At some place (we can discuss it out here) where many bikers can G2G preferably with big ground and good seating arrangement (eg: Shivaji Park, Dadar).

        Time : TBD (preferably morning)

Topics to be covered : It would depend on the knowledge levels of participants (I expect many seniors to participate in good spirit). Even if we are not able to physically work on some bike (in worst case) we can atleast have a healthy discussion on bike maintenance and solutions to D2D problems !

So start pouring in your confirmations and mention the topic on which you would like to share your expertise here !

PS: I am expecting a good support from all of xBhp-Mumbaikars !

A good long ride can clear your mind, restore your faith, and use up a lot of fuel.

Always be ready (get geared) to fall and then think of sitting on the motorcycle.

Is there a List prepared for the tentative date that rony has set?

If not then Rony could you make one for us?

I know the venue isn't fixed yet but if at all you are considering Shivaji park as the venue then I'll add a couple of points since I stay there.

                          1. Shivaji park is too crowded between 6am - 9am and 6pm - 10pm on even weekdays let aside weekends. Sundays it is most crowded in the mentioned time frames.

                          2. If the venue is Shivaji park then organize the g2g anytime between 10am and 4pm Mon-Sat. (Sunday it is crowded almost the whole day, cricket and stuff you see.) You'll get ample parking space and no disturbance.

                          3. I'll be the first one present at the venue if it's Shivaji Park

Will we not have unwanted desperate locals wanting to know what is going on which will eventually disturb us?

Shivaji Park, if selected for a weekday, then how many can actually turn up since it'll be a working day?
