@ Anup : QUITE AN ADVENTURE.
Very long thread so maybe missed other gems.
October is not over and I have already used Rs 5500 for petrol for my Bullet this month.
I had got a fully serviced bike on Dassera and now it has done 1700 KMs since then.
I will most probably do the ******* (discussed) ride again with my Guru (Tribal Energy) who found the route - his Tribal Bull is sick so he will use a Calibre 115
I hope you understand because he is a military trained "goonda" and I feel safe with him.
Call me and I will explain the route which is simple enough.

Sorry for the delay. Dont have enough time to work on the log.
40 KM's from panvel had a halt for petrol, Ambition was a bit thirsty. Suddenly after panvel the temp as dropped an the air was chilllin. We could see the cold weather effects on Aman as he was riddin without gloves and the wind was cutting though his jacket. We had spare gloves with us, Shiva wore those cramsters & gave his gloves to Aman. It helped a lot. So back on the road crusin on the highway in a formation. Took a break again around 20 KMs away @ a tea stall. Anup was feelin tooo cold (Everyone else was also frozen). Had a glass of tea (No cups) and moved on. Tea breaks help a lot.
Round bout 3.30 we reached Mahabaleshwar Turn, Polhadpur. Had a small break rather a Warning Break 2 kms off Polhadpur. Anup warned everyone of the dangerous Kashedi ghats ahead. Ive been on this road alll my life & I knew wht he was talkin bout. The ghats are awesome during day but deadly during night. 7 - 8 km long ghatz were awesome. The roadz were goood most of the time but suddenly wen ur cornering or crusin on a slope the road adrupty ended and the signature red dust of the konkan region replaced the black tarmat. Was scarry. The gravel on the curves slowed us down & I guess this is wht prevented us frm accidentz. Anup and shiva were crusing ahead and pusing the ZMA & Ambition.

Dump ppl riding on NH17. Destination Goa

My broken glasses. I owe Razor big time for fixin those.

The moon smiling down at us. Or may be laughing, wht fools
.

If u can spot it the sun tooo comes for a small tea party with the mooon 7 to laugh on us.

A leather jacket would be 1) too ambitious for our conditions 2) too priceyOriginally posted by cosgeo99 View Post^^Yaaa satyen Nikhil was wearing a leather jacket

You can get one made in Dharavi - custom leather jacket - don't use inner liner - it will look like a leather shirt - like a denim jacket - but better protection."Life being what it is, one dreams of revenge." - Paul Gauguin
