Awesome ride reached home about 1.30,directly went to sleep.
Got up morning and By Gods Grace there wasn't any kind of body pain etc...
Didnt get to enjoy that much.BTW was great fun to ride with all u guys

wel abt d crash-
wel me n anup v were speedin(70-80km) around d corners.....nd anup was headin....nd i was bhind him at a safe distance.....wel ahead of one corner der was a cow on d other lane.....nd anup crossed that corner wid out any mishap...wen it was my turn...that cow came walkin in to my lane.....and i applied d brakes that bloody mrf tyres started skindin....nd i directly crashed d huge stomach of d cow....just imagin it was not ME fallin down....it was d COW fallin down!!!!...!!!!...eyewitness ANUP!!!.....nd i was steady ridin on my BIKE!!....i badly damaged my bike...nothin craked frm outside of d fairing...even d headlamp..!!!...all internel damge...nd i damaged d white board which cums below d speedo meter which holds it .nd its it cums around 350rs that i got replaced...only d front mudguard got bit craked..nd anywayzz i got to change everythin....total expense is around 5000rs!!!...nd totally ****ed my Clutch plate even that i got 2 change it which is around 1350RS...for that i got change even d engine oil...my mechanic told it...so d total cost is more than 7000rs....!!!

yesterday night 12:30 am i reached sanpada....called up my mechanic..he got only d whiteBoard..nd other thing he got it fixed everythin wid d help of fewikquick!!!.im happy for that nw.....nd now if u see my BIKE no 1 can say that i had a crashed into somethin or a COW!!!!.....reached home around 4am!!!

so the cow died??

God knows if the cow died, later however with the force that shiva hit the cow, atleast a couple of broken ribs....

If you crashed on the stomach of the cow, and the cow was down, and you were still on the bike rolling, did you - holy mother of god you rolled over the cow!!!!???

OK here comes the story behind "The cow Killer"
All the while, after we crossed chiplun..we were riding above 70 kms per hr and the ghats were awesome with very beautiful roads, curves were too nice to lean here and there...so i took this opportunity to ride fast and shiva too joined me in this fun and we left others way behind..
so we finish almost 5kms riding together, all of a sudden a very sexy curve appears too good to just leave it and right at the edge where you lean and get back to position to ride straight thats where ther were cattle was. there were 3 cows and one man sitting on the other side of the road. I saw the cow coming to my lane, i raced and crossed the cow before she could it me...and i stopped looking at my rear view mirror and "THUD" there was shiva on my rear view mirror and i laughed at him ...i am sorry i couldnt control the laugh all throughout.
He hit the cow and the cow fell on the ground and shiva was upright holding on the zma. The fairing has a crack, the front mud guard has a crack and zma speedo was in my saddle bag....but to be honest..shiva was not the culprit...it was the cow...

Cow - the shiva killer ...could be the apt title.

For some reason we hate a lot of things..there were stories of me trying to run over street dogs on the ride...
I dont remember but even Winze was up to something...
Aman was the only guy with calm cool head and red eye......i really pity him and he has promised that he will never do a night ride...i agree...even i wil not...so whos up for a trip to "Rann of Kutch" in November. 3 day ride. leave in the night on friday and come back by sunday evening.

A trip log finally .

Mumbai to Goa G2G-----------------------

Day 1
Finally after week long discussions and switchin between dozens of destination and almost canceling the trip we finally zeored in on Goa, a weeked dream destination. Even after final plans were drafted i was a bit skeptical bout the ride (ppl have too many personal commitmentz these dayz ). As per planz I was to fly frm kolkatta to mumbai & meet Anup Shiva & Aman at Pnavel mac @ 12 am . Reached mumbai @ 8.30 but cause the f**kin traffic reached home by 11.00 . Packed up got freash arranged cash & left home around 11.45. Reached panvel around 1.20 am (only 1.20 mins late, didnt break ny records).

Every thin was fine till the helmet was on. Broke my glasses wen tried to remove the helmet (A stupid action ). So with no spare lenses in the bag and almost no hopes for fixing the glasses the ride was almost over for me. Was depressed, ambaresed wen Sumit gave me some hopes as power of his glasses was close to mine. From nowhere Razor jummed in and bandaged those glasses (This ride wouldnt be possible without his support. I owe u Gopi).

Around 1.40, with darkness as the compannion and broken glasses on 7 riders were ready to burn petrol on NH17 frm Dusk to Dawn .

hi cos please put it on the tourer thread " it says if u have done a 1000+ kms to post it there..." these days there are guys who do a 100km ride and post it...so why not you take this opportunity and post a nice trip log there....hope to see that thread...soon...with pictures......

Well I am glad Shiva is all right, not glad that his bike is not, and neutral that the leather -bag or whatever made off that cow will have MRF tyre prints and a ZMA front imprint!

I think the shepherd was upto looting you guys for cash by releasing the cow on the roads - villagers do that a lot. Until now I knew they would throw in dead hens and released goats and small animals, but a cow is a big thing and it's expensive, which surprises me.

Anyway, still waiting for the pics - Cosgeo will it be the 27th next month?!

Also, for your next ride plan, are there no stay overs?
