@ rony - dude, i think you dont know that i was not there @ starting point near pamvel mCd.

I woke up late in morning & came alone all away riding from airoli to lonavala & while returning i observed those fellows. when i ask you people it was said that ' agar mods kuch nahi bol rahe hai toh hum kya bole'.

Ohh is it? No, I didn't see you. I was so bloody pissed off with the heat that I wanted to reach home as early as possible and have bath! Hence was in hurry! Vineet was with me till Sion station. There was another rider - Green Dazzler/twister, (sorry I don't recollect your id buddy) with us till Makhurd by-pass road. Don't know which route he took later on. Hope he has reached home safely by now.

It was Hormuz (Horror) ... He stays somewhere near chedda nagar ... but he was with Arun (BigBore) how come he joined you ??

Well I'll be honest here. Initially I didn't realize that thing but Sid spotted it and brought it to my attention. If I remember correctly, that fellow was riding pillion with Balaji. I was gonna have a chat with Balaji regarding his gears but don't know what stopped me. I know it's wrong but may be even I might have thought the same - if the senior present at the venue are fine with it then who am I to go and ask him. Or may be I thought someone might have already told him to wear gears from next ride on. Whatever it is, I know it was wrong. Should have had a chat with Balaji. Will definitely do it from next time onwards. Or at least will bring it to mod's/senior's attention so that he can go and talk to the concerned rider.

@tusharji ... I am really sorry for those harsh words, but I am amazed why did you not speak up there being such a senior rider ... if you can speak up here why not take tough stand on the venue itself ?

I found pune seniors better with this ... a rider was not allowed to join with his bike since he did not bring his insurance papers ... they brought him pillion though .... still that sends a stern message to all that rules are rules ... you cant make a mockery of it .... even in past pune seniors have taken tough stands regarding rule breakers .... why cant you all ?

@ALL ... I had no intention to discuss this topic here but since tusharji posted about it I am raising these questions. I hope in future rides people take the rules being posted here (again n again) more seriously and avoid such silly things.... lets end it here now !

@ketan ... I already have a bad repute out here for sticking to rules and discipline ... dont wanna make it worse :-)

Arre Rony, please don't take things personally dude. There was a time when we(DK, Shadowboy, Bibek, Biru, Spidy, Ajinkya) used to tour on almost every weekend and guys like shadowboy, Bibek used to be our targets

. But they never took things personally. Friendly banter. Am just giving you an example.

But yes, I agree.. there's a limit to everything and it should not be crossed. Anyway, enough OTs from my side. Back to business.

Boy oh Boy My First Ride with Xbhp and I must say it was an amazing experience.Riding in group is an altogether different experience.It was fun riding in the morning but the scene completely changed on the return leg of the journey.There was too much heat to bear.Kudos to DK who was wearing all leather gear,god knows how he bared the heat.

Alankar's Prophecy went true and I had a small fall during one of the cornering but other than that,cornering is so much fun.Need to work more on my cornering skills(you listening joel and aman ).

Stunting by Calvin was mind blowing.The way he does stoppie makes one think how easy it is to do.

Guys upload the pics and videos as soon as possible.Cant wait to see them.

Everyone else! (I know easier said than done, and much more easier to be said from office

) but from hereon anyone flouting riding rules would be asked to go back OR banned from future rides.

Not pin pointing it to anyone, but these rules exists for a bloody good reason.
My girl used to complain about the riding gears when we used to go, and now she understands why it helps and isnt comfortable without them.
Riding gears have to be habit more than a rule...

Having said that! Darn you guys had a good ride! Picsssss!

For tushar & others: I did personally spoke to both people (one balaji's pillion) ,other guy with chappal to avoid henceforth & yeah don't have heart to send back when I know I would be leading both the times with discipline being followed

infact the cbz extreme guy (automobile engineer) was courteous enough & sane enough to not join the ride upto lonavla because he lacked few gears,tht's why I invited him to ride back

ATGATT is fine but assess the situation before crossing the border ---

Had so much fun with all you guys, definitely a MEGA G2G. Yes, I reached home safely (Rony , Ketan) :P. I was driving really slowly all the way from panvel to mumbai. It was really funny to see when people were asking "yaha race ho raha hai kya???" One thing I was disappointed to see was that from panvel to lonavala the group broke up, I was riding with only one more person(The guys with the yellow FZ and yellow over-all, sorry dude can't remember your name, but thanks for sticking together) This might not be the case with all the people. And the same while coming back to panvel I rode with a black R15 rider (golden rims) who very humbly kept up with my slow speed and corrected me when I was riding in the wrong lane! BIG thanks to you man(sorry about my poor memory, can't remember people's name) But over all had loads of fun and hoping to join you guys in many more such rides. BTW I hated the heat too.

It was Viraj, from Thane, very helpful and a real good teacher about lane discipline
