@Swas- the distance from Cochin, to Thenmala, as per google maps is 177 - turning left from Kayamkulam to come to Adoor - Punalur - Thenmala

B'lore trip plan.

My tentative b'lore ride plan is as follows:

Start Sat/ Sun evening
Via Thenmala, reach Thenkasi, TN before nightfall (90 kms)
Night ride - Madurai NH 208 (254 kms cumulative)
30 to 60 mins break
Pre-dawn ride upto - Salem - NH 7 (243 kms from Madurai)
Bunk at some place in Salem till next morn
Early morn ride upto B'lore - NH7... (188 kms from Salem)
Stict 5 mins break every hr (unlike my flying ride to Cochin )

Any suggestions?

- I sincerely hope I can convince ma parents

I could really use some company, but guess I'll have to rely on ma new ipod shuffle

I want to skip NH47... Also, ride to cochin is just two days old...

From TVM till kavalkinaru the road is not that good, after that you can simple own the roads, they are 4 lanes and with fences on both sides, so no fear deer crossing (u know wat I mean). IMO that root would be really good to ride with climate being cool now

As of now only me , remy and balaji will be available for sure for this ride....and i think that wont be that gud.. so thinking of postponing.. when will you guys be able to join...i m really tired of postponing this trip again n again.what about 19th or 20th.? Have told the cochin guys that we are doing this tomorrow...veruthe avare kothipicho??!!

hey.....the cochin guys are coming down anyway....its a chance to meet up too....why waste a ride and g2g in vain?? we'll ride...doesn't matter if its solo or group...a ride is a ride
