Happy to hear that..more and more were pulling away from the ride and i forgot about you there in our group. will contact u later.
fitted a dome for 8.5 K!!! you could have spent those in a much more wiser way to improve the performance in a big way....8.5 k is indeed BIG money..Do you think it is worth the extra 2 lights?? If you have budget permitting, go for 2 projectors and HIDs as in 2009 R1..

Indeed a lot of money spent on a fairing Doc. Atleast you could have bought some safety gears for that wad of cash

Thirunelveli ride itinerary

First off, welcome all new members to the xbhp club.

Coming to the ride this weekend - those are interested in joining, plz post your readiness, else we wont know you are coming rite? The more, the merrier...

Proposed plan:
Starting point: Anton TVS, Neeramankara, after Karamana bridge
Starting time: No later than 5 AM.
Tea break on reaching Nagercoil.
Lots of places for photo sessions all the way from Nagercoil, NH7.
Breakfast at Thirunelveli (if we are going there). Expecting 10 AM.
Again lots of places for photo session on the way to Papanasham.
Expecting to reach destination by 12 noon.
If ppl are willing to stretch, we can also go to Manimuthar dam. (To be discussed).
Return - (late) Lunch at thirunelveli by 3PM.
Expecting very less stoppages on way back - reach Nagercoil by dusk. (6-7 PM).
Back at starting point by 9PM.

The timings other than starting WILL vary.

Few guidelines:
Stick to the group, least you get lost
On highway (read NH7) leave enuf gap between rides.
Each individual is responsibile for his own safety - don all your safety gear.
Be ready to enjoy the ride - mindset determines everything
Be flexible - regarding timing, destination etc... most often the unexpected is more enjoyable than the expected!!

whoa!! now that's the first time i'm seeing a well laid out plan for a ride....nice...btw...like lijo said...unxpcted is more enjoyable than the expected...will try my max to join you guys...its just that i have to head to mu native this week....its been really loong...soo this time planned to ride...

gud work lijo....Thats a perfectly well laid out plan.... Stressing out one thing again-> all timings other than starting time can vary....starting at 4:45 sharp. meeting point in front of Anton TVS(opposite evm honda,TVS,et), Neeramankara

@Lijo, Bro I have following doubts.

1.Total expense of each person for the entire trip.
Fuel for atleast 500 bucks(depending upon mileage of bike) + food (atleast 100 bucks) + lots of water (take maximum with you as this is TN, rest we can buy)

2.single rider or with pillion rider
As you wish bro... If a pillion rider is there, we can have lots of riding photos.. As you are having a 220, riding with pillion on long rides is not much of a problem. In R15, RTR n all, riding with pillion for such long distances will be tedious..

Pls dont feel bad coz ths s my first experience with group ride.
Never mind..group riding is fun as long as we maintain a discipline and respect other riders on road.

My opinions - last time we didnt pack any food, but no harm anyway; if you have a pillion, make sure the pillion also has riding gear (atleast a helmet) as not everyone can take getting tossed in the wind for long, they can get tired (dizzy etc) very fast.

@lijo, about the food..is there any nice place in the forest where we can have food in peace?. if so we can buy from somewhere good and have lunch there..
