@Lijo super stuff there buddy... the only thing missing is the "R1"...

Guys we(my roommates) are going for a trip(3 days) to Kodaikanal... the route for the start which we preferred is through TVM-Athirappilli-Munnar-Kodaikanal and the return trip through ours favorite NH7(atleast my fav.)... so all the suggestions for the routes are welcome...

Phew!!! it was a huge effort from me to agree each of my roommates for a biking trip... almost 2 months... atlast i was successful...

hehe... you are quite observant bro... yes, that was one of the reasons too.. I really suffered during the I-day rain ride due to this particular problem

BTW i have kept it as my touring helmet.. cant carry it around, especially to office. I take my helmet to my seat and put it behind my monitor. Even the relatively plain AGV causes enough furor... And already I'm called "racer" by the ignorant, dont want to aggravate that...

Congrats on all the shopping ! I dont know of any other guy who shops so much on a credit card !!!!

Where did you buy the helmet from ? Orion or Balaji ? Assuming Orion since youve also bought A*. Btw what problem did you have with your AGV ?

What you can do is carry your Sparx in a helmet bag (normal cloth bag you get with all helmets) when youre in office. Sabu has plenty of them. I put my Cramster full gauntlets into my KBC and wrap it in my black KBC helmet bag when I reach office.

Just today I was having a discussion with m y office people regarding my daily riding gear (KBC Bulldog, DSG Nero, Cramster TRG2) & they were saying for this money you shouldve put the down payment for a car and come to office everyday arram se ......

@Neil - got it from Orion. Well, I dont say the AGV has any problems, but its not a perfect fit (which the new one is). Both have a different shell shape. Also, like Ranjith noticed, the AGV was having trouble keeping water from seeping to the inside of the visor, which was really pissing me off in heavy rains... The Sparx has the rubber beading around the visor opening, which prevents water from seeping in. It also has a D-ring chin strap. The colors match both my bike and the rest my gear. Then, its damn sexy man... with the skullz and all... hehe
And ppl in office have the same thoughts here too... but my team mates understand my passion and so dont bother me... and then, besides you guys in xbhp, I never tell anyone the actual prices... why confuse them? hehe

@AJ - I think the restriction has been withdrawn. Hasn't it?

Happy that you are getting some nice stuffs. Its worth it.. never look for the money, its really worth it. And safety comes always at first place.Every one used to critise me when i bought the A* stuffs. But i dont bother them saying because i am happy with that. And also welcome 2 A* family.

Surprisingly your AGV doesn't have the D-ring chin strap..i was really surprised about that...and the "sponge" beeding is of poor quality...even Udhay's has worn off.

What I really like about the Bulldog is that the padding and hence the fit is superb. It makes my MPA AGV feel second rate !
