Guys today morning i booked Yamaha R15...
He said i will get it on Feb 1st week.

not yet decided... the showroom guy told it will be priced only 2000Rs more than the current one...LOL... i said no chance... coz when Fazer was launched with just the fairing they charged an extra 10K... so if they price it well i will buy the new one else the current model...

My presence for the munnar trip

hi all,

Finally i am in for the ride..1 clause is there..

Tintus bike is in the workshop for its bore replacement which he has bot from joel i think.. ( not specific with the names ). They have told him to deliver it on 7th eve.

I will be joining hands with Binoy on 8th morning and catch up with you all on the same day @ munnar.

Regarding my bike i dont see any chances in getting within the ride as they have some big issues running.

If everything goes according the plan i will be there.. and i am also looking for an alternative bike.. so far.. none in the list.. i will be keep on looking.

Hope things turn out good as per the plans.

hi all,

Finally i am in for the ride..1 clause is there..

Tintus bike is in the workshop for its bore replacement which he has bot from joel i think.. ( not specific with the names ). They have told him to deliver it on 7th eve.

I will be joining hands with Binoy on 8th morning and catch up with you all on the same day @ munnar.

Regarding my bike i dont see any chances in getting within the ride as they have some big issues running.

If everything goes according the plan i will be there.. and i am also looking for an alternative bike.. so far.. none in the list.. i will be keep on looking.

Hope things turn out good as per the plans.

:I got my bike after service from PBK. following things are my complaints.
-------------------------------------------------------------------
1. An irritating sound from front side...dont know it is from shock stump,fairing or calliper.
2.CO% adust.
3.Another low sound near piston head side.

Only the complaint No 2 was done done by the PBK. They need to dismantle the fairing for settling the creeping sound. so assured me for whole check up after the munnar ride coz two experienced mechanics are on leave for 3 days. F***
On my return way just visted Mass motors, sreekariyam and there was a good mechanic named Vishu. Who checked the whole fairing and found the problem is from front calliper.Greased and changed the brake pads. WOW!!! NOW THERE IS NO SOUND! For calliper problem PBK decided to remove the fairing (If right indicater broken they replace left indicator) Oil changed, complaint no3 was timing chain adjuster complaint,and it will be taking time and clear only after the munnar trip. Now feels the engine refinement back and thanks to that nice mechanic. K&N roar is a little high should clean along with lijo's bike at cochin. Waiting for one more day to zip the corners through the Munnar foggy hill

seems ok for me...

oh so did you planned the worst case scenatio? - if tintu's bike not available? Look for another option too...

congrats binoy chetta !!! you ve waited for so long and now if you are going for the old model, its madness....also in the long run , the resale might go down coz this is the old model....how much did they quote for your FZ at hilton ??

BTW i went to Honda showroom today and there was a HUGE banner of CBR250 there. I asked her about the booking status , she told booking was opened yesterday and 7 guys came and booked it on the first day !!

WOW man, you are that lucky soul to experience the big bore spicey monster first even before tintu !! . but remember that will be in its run in period then. since binoy has some hold there at hilton, i m sure they will deliver it in time, but make sure it is in good condition before you start the ride...We want you also to join this ride anyhow, so please look for some alternate options too in worst case scenario...

night riding ? !! be safe guys, both of you have specs and its having its own share of disadvantages in night time. thats why i opted out of that and preferred full day time riding....

And i changed to zapper FS tubeless today, but while installing, he screwed up with the brakes. now the front disc is behaving like drum...think i got to get it bleeded tomorrow !! Got myself a set of clutch cables and throttle cables , thinking whether i should change them as a precaution or keep it with me and use it if any such circumstance arises.
