This was the first Kerala G2G bro! And we from Tvm, cochin makes up most of the xbhp crowd from Kerala. No one wants a G2G in there own city. And no one from Tvm expressed they need a G2G conducted here! After all, these G2Gs are held so that we get to do a ride...Originally posted by akhilmuraleedhar View Post
I read somewhere that it was done purposefully by Yamaha due to the feedback from the India market that it is lacking in low end torque!! Yamaha, being Yamaha, we can trust them on the mods they make. Right?Originally posted by akhilmuraleedhar View Post

Looking forward to good times...Originally posted by lijok View PostI've never missed any service till date. Just skipped on the oil change by them as I was using the Motul FS...
Yes, I've shot a mail to Joel as per Tintu's advice. Awaiting his reply. I did not want to touch the engine as long as possible. Now that its inevitable, I'll get it back in working condition, then joel(verb

I am so much interested in attending this g2g too , but circumstances wont allow me to ..... my parents agreed to this munnar ride after 2 weeks of pestering them and still they cant digest riding for so long !! So i cant expect them to allow me for another one so soon , in feb or march. Also i ll be so busy in feb with the college fest related things and will have to submit the project by march and the xams are scheduled to start by march end itself due to elections coming in may. That will be the end of my college life and if i am able to get a job by then, i will be totally free to attend any g2gs after that
. Guys, this is just my problem and dont think anyone else will have this prob other than sudeep, me , remy. So you guys carry on with the plans in your mind and make it happen, i shall join with you ppl for the first anniversary of the first Tri State g2g later in 2011
.
Guys, did you see the amount of oil in your oil sump after the munnar ride? i just checked today and found it low. so topped it up and it drank around 400ml of engine oil...My New Blog : http://ridesaferidelong.blogspot.com/

It happens on long rides. Which is why oil level should be checked before a long ride.Originally posted by VarunRTR View PostGuys, did you see the amount of oil in your oil sump after the munnar ride? i just checked today and found it low. so topped it up and it drank around 400ml of engine oil...
Also, I dont believe in oil top-up. Do a full replace!

Hi brother, Nice to see you hereOriginally posted by Praful View PostYep don't worry.. I'm keeping a track!
All are interested to attend the tri state g2g 2011. kindly organise an apt date for the programme coz most of our (students) members are in exam mood for the coming months. I suggest Vayanad is the best place tri state g2g
. We just enjoyed Munnar and need another location

a g2g in south kerala will save a lot of fuel expenses.. when these g2gs are conducted in north kerala cochin guys have the benifit of riding less+ having the fun of participating in it.Originally posted by lijok View PostThis was the first Kerala G2G bro! the r15 is designed for a purpose-track annihilation. the r125 dont even have the bottom end of an r15. here in india every body want it to catch up with a 220 in a drag race. total stupidity. what else can i say.the whole purpose of the machine is neglected.superbikes are the biggest blunders on indian roads.

NoooooooOriginally posted by Doctor Noel View Postguys.... Good news. i am going to take a thumper soon. But need a suggestion from you guys. Once owned 1982 Bullet Standard 350, so now want to look another model. Classic is not at all in the list. Shall I go for Electra or Thunderbird???
please... if i need to tell you about Electra i need to tell you more. My roommate has got this bike... he's suffering from the time which he bought from, at 7K kilometers the gasket went off... and day before yesterday he had done the whole engine work, costed him 8K. am not insulting BULLET, but Electra is a piece of S**T
. i will tell you other incidents in personal
he's also going to sell it...
The spares for Electra is also difficult to find... my suggestion is to stay away from it. Don't have experience with Thunderbird. If you need Bullet then go for an old Standard one. You can ask Sree for other references...

..... I should listen to you. Forgot about Sree's issue with bullet. Should really double consider it. Lets wait and see. Or I may start hunting for second hand one...
