guys.... Good news. i am going to take a thumper soon. But need a suggestion from you guys. Once owned 1982 Bullet Standard 350, so now want to look another model. Classic is not at all in the list. Shall I go for Electra or Thunderbird???

Ask suggestion from sreenath Now he is a victim of RE...Years back me too In olden days there was good mechanics for RE and the quality of the product was far better. If you get good service and free avilability of spares, then take a chance.

As i said before you should not even double consider Electra. Some probs with this bike is if you broke the clutch cable any other Bullet's model(hopefully) won't suit it. so the only option is of Bajaj chetak's which is very long etc.
While am typing this my roommate(Praveen) is asking are you RichieRich. else stay away from this bike... LOL...

Yes chetta i always love the smooth exhaust music of the old/classic/standard bullets. The R&D is not much good for the company. eg:- the engine parts are not even machined properly when they are produced. with the long run it get's properly machined. that's why the more run bullet is better than the one rightly from the showroom floor.
P.S: Guys this only my personal experience. Many good mechanic's also told my friend the problems of the bike. @Noel don't make a decision from my words. may be different for others. so get a quick search around and make a decision. CHEERS

bullet is nothing but a piece of shit. i have friends with buttlets that do nothing but cause head aches. go for a reliable cbr or a r15. these bikes give top notch riding thrills which no bullets or missiles give.
