You just go only to the authorised service centre.....there you can claim the warranty. But I think you left the company service a long back...so there may be a chance of contradict towards the warranty.Anyway approach them without delay.Me too faced such a situation after yercaud ride.Dont worry...everything will be right soon.Always stay in optimistic mood.

          • Hi Guys at last we are back home safely. mmm although am little tired i need to put up some words from myself. It was such a wonderful ride from the very start to to the (very end).
The trip started with sree and my friend praveen on saturday from 12:15 AM and ended at 4:00 PM Monday with 718 kms on the oddo.

I was very sleepy on Friday evening after my office and i had only 1:30 hrs of quick nap. i somehow woke up and called praveen. i thought he will say am very sleepy and you just go. For my surprise he just jumped from his bed and started brushing, bathing etc.
i hurried up and called sree and we met at karyavattom junction. when i saw him on Tintu's R15 with A* stuff it was like Ben Spies on his Tech3 yamaha waiting at the pole position for the green light to go(). he he he

The ride started and sree lead the ride and i just followed him. The free flow exhaust of R15 shift deleted the remaining sleep in me and enjoyed cruising behind him. At the first halt we met Sreejith on his way back to TVM, had a quick chat and we started our ride. Got a chance to ride Tintu's R15.(Tintu i didn't ripped her ok)...
A few words about Tintus R15... mmm i can't compare the stock R15 with the Joel'd one, coz i haven't ridden the R15 much. but from the lil previous experience with R15 i can say that the low end torque has much improved with this setup, i couldn't know the true potential of this setup coz i was riding just at 5K rpm... but there is knocking at first two gears(3rd gear also). i think afer the run-in the probs will be solved. anyways it was a good setup and congrats to @Joel also for his engineering.

We had no hope that we will reach Munnar in time. Anyways will lil traffic we just managed to reach at 7:00 AM. Met many cochin xbhp members and new members and i would like to thank you each and every new members who ride with me. the off-roading was the best bet of all.

P.S: @Jay just post that pics and videos of off-roading on your Ninja on kawiforums and kick those guys a***s...

The return trip started at 12 PM sunday with cochin and TVM guys the first glimpse of niggles showed up with Noels loose chain cover nuts we were confident that we will reach home in time. Unfortunately Lijo's bike showed some probs when we reached Perumbavoor and i told to myself "All Is Well" and we can reach in time. After the quick thattu dosa break at Changanassery the disaster striked in the form of a puncture on my bikes rear tyre. As we were already running late coz of bad traffic this incident striked us with a huge blow. We tried fixing the puncture using Lijo's puncture repair kit(Many many thanks to Lijo for helping me to solve the puncture) we just slapped our hands with great joy that we done it. Started riding and when after Tiruvalla the tyre again went kaput(Full air leak). We lost our nerves and a glimpse of panic showed on everyone's faces. Lijo and Kannan went in search of puncture repair shop. Noel and Varun went another way, me and praveen on other. At last everyone reached back with no hopes i decided to keep my bike at any near-by safe place and go back as pillion. As Lijo's bike started showing more trouble we 3(me, praveen and Lijo) decide to take stay in a lodge and kept my bike in a near by church(the priest allowed to keep the bike there and offered a free sleep inside the church, thanking him from my heart) and we said we will take a stay in a lodge at Tiruvalla... Thanking others(Arun, Varun, Noel, Remi and Fayed) for their help and patience, we parted our ways... Next was the problem finding a proper stay.
At-last we found one, i asked the guy there(as he was lil drunk) what the cost for a stay for 3 guys. he suddenly asked men or women... i said 2 men...
            what's the cost?
600 Rs for 3 people bed room and 300 for 2 bed room, we took the 2 bed room and after some chats went to sleep.
Monday morning: Woke up at 8 AM, me and praveen went in search of a puncture repair shop and Lijo in search of the SVC. Found one workshop and the guy told he only fix non-tubless tyres... we found another shop some 1-2 kms away and that guy fixed the puncture, but i was not satisfied with his fixing coz there was again some leak. he put some more paiste/solution on the top and asked me to wait 10min for the solution to dry up. After the fix it seemed to be ok, but not 100% ok. anyways our first priority was to reach back home atleast today itself... Lijo was at TVS SVC me and praveen started our ride to meet Lijo, after ~2-3 kms the F****ng tyre again went kaput. i don't know what all things i called that F****ng guy. i completely lost my nerve and dont know what to do.I just prayed to GOD what do we do... i think he heard my prayers and just after a turn we found a MRF showroom & SVC. phew that guy fixed it properly and at the time Lijo came back with a sad news that his crank, cylinder and piston went wrong... anyways we started to ride back slowly coz keeping the bike at Tiruvalla SVC is a bad idea. The open roads of MC tempted us. Lijo's bike is not in a good condition for that, so kept cruising at 60kmph... after parting ways at venjaramoodu with Lijo there was some more bit in the MC to fulfill my hunger. ripped her to the max by following a Honda Civic guy, he was really moving fast, i just tailed him with a 100 meter gap. a nice long streach phew 107 on my speedo(Don't laugh guys, me and my bike are poor souls). Took a quick bath and decided to put up some words...

P.S: Thanks guys for reading such a boring post. Feeling sleepy... TADA...

I back sreenath chettan, we need one meet up soon to share the stories amonst us and a few who missed this EPIC ride. We split into so many groups while riding back and each of us will have our own set of adventure tales. we can discuss and finalize the time later according to everyone's convenience....

In the meanwhile, was going through noel's set of clicks and found out that sreenath chettan was in form for some time after the offroading and noel was ready with his camera for the timely clicks too....bad i missed those light magic moments as i went with others to a viewpoint nearby. just sharing those clicks here for a hearty laugh....sorry sreenath chetto, just couldnt resist it .....

Thank you all for posting your ride reports.... the kerala g2g finally came to and end at 4:30pm when I (the first one to start and last one to reach) reached home

BTW, i've busted my engine. Still a big mystery where all the oil went. Riding with low oil - well, I dont have to say the engine gets damaged. I'm just glad it did not seize and stop. anyway, my crank is gone, along with damage to cylinder kit, piston, rings etc. Will be taking it to SVC tomorrow to see what can be done.

I dont have the strength to type in the ride report from my side. But will do so...

Now heading over to the other thread to read you updates...

Yes chettaa, you are right. Thanks to Tintu for giving his R15 babe to Sreenath. Its powerful roar kept us safe from elephants during offroading and really watched our six.

@ Sreenath - Wish you that your thumper come fast from service centre.

@ Lijo chettan - One doubt chettaa, didnt you felt any roughness from engine when oil went low? Yesterday my bike also went low in 2T oil which gave me worried for time. Filled a 500ml of loose 2T oil in tank from that fuel station where you repaired Binoy's tyre for time being which saved me from trouble. Dont worry chettaa, your bike will come back in full health in few days.
