guys i need some help. how is the condition of the nh 47 now. i have to make a ride from trivandrum to ernakulam. whether to make the ride will depend on the condition of the road. give some tips. lijo where are you buddy? expecting quick reply. this whole thing is going to happen in a hurry.

Cochin-TVM via Nh47 is good. Just a few rough patches after Alappuzha and near Kayankulam. Nothing to worry about.

GIR reaches Trivandrum by 31st March saturday and Cape by 1st april sunday as per the current schedule. That would make up for a good group ride

ride cancelled. too many things at stake. leaving for mumbai on friday. most likely, on tuesday leaving mumbai for netherlands. taking tonights guruvayur train at 11.30 for ernakulam.
my r15 goes for another 5 months of slumber.
after i come back ,i am planning on organising a group of cycling enthusiasts in trivandrum. in this age of traffic and pollution there is no better mode of travelling short distances within the city. any one interested?

About 10 riders from Chennai Xbhp are riding to Kuttralam coming Thursday. We are having plans of visiting TVM - K'Kumari on the way back to Chennai. Planning to meet you all when we are there. However, have ziltch idea about TVM as it would be first trip deep down south for most of us. Might require your assistance. Can somebody volunteer to help us? If let known, shall exchange contact numbers via PM. Thank you.

That's on 22nd, right?
Since it's a weekday could you provide some precise data on the time of arrival at Trivandrum.
It's an approx two hour+ ride from Courtallam to Trivandrum and takes another more than two hours ride to Kanyakumari.

That's not possible. they are riding from Valparai - Cochin- Alleppey-Thekkedy then to Trivandrum.

As per the map, they will be arriving at Cape by 1st April, 2 days at Cape and by 4th riding back to Chennai.

Interested bikers ennalle Confirmed bikers ennallallo. Take is easy @Jay and @Sree, you guys know these from long years na.

1) Plan a ride
2) Inform everyone
3) Who all come or not ride your ride

BTW which route you are taking? For good roads you can take the Madurai route(150 odd kms more) than taking a right from Tirunelveli(I actually forgot the exact route, its more over village roads, watch for the cattle's and jaywalker's). As you are doing the ride in 2 days you can take the Madurai route for the pleasure of ripping.

If you guys planned the trip 2 weeks before I could cancel my Chennai ride and joined from Bglr. Now my bike is upto service and after the high speed runs from Thrissur-Bangalore and Banglaore-Chennai there's some rattling sound's from the front fairings, coz after my accident many fairings locks/rubber bushes are not present and the spares were not available then. need to bring her to the previous glory now.

Binoy... its the matter of being frustrated and the big mouth opening speaches on G2Gs. This made me reply to jayan post.

We know pretty well that it will happen only the way you said. But there are some enthusiats who step down coz of this.

This is not pointing to anyone.
