Athirapally seems to be a Good location. Personally, I've never been there.

i suggested Athirapally-Vazhachal because the one dayers need to go back also
Athirapally-Vazhachal i think is about 90-100kms from cochin
and ya personally i wanted to go there also

^^ yes, for the One dayers...
my place is 40kms from Kochi, so apart from starting and ending the tour in Kochi, I have to travell extra 80Kms...not that I am complaining

what I am saying is that given the distance between TVM and Kochi, the place must be chosen carefully because if some place is nearer to Kochi, it will be far from TVM and vice-versa...

For TVM talkies >> 263 KMS 1 side

TVM + EKM joining at THENMALA riding together 192 KMS

For 3 day ride ... Extended

Madurai .. Ooty ..285 KMS

Madurai ..Kodaikanal .. 115 kms

Dates which i suggest is October 7 8 9 or November 11 12 13.

Expected Cost for 1 day EKM >>

Total Kms 740
Avg Mileage per lit 35 kms
Petrol required 22 liters
Cost 1600 ( calculated 1 lit = 70 INR )

Expected Cost for 1 day TVM >>

Total Kms 540
Avg Mileage per lit 35 kms
Petrol required 16 liters
Cost 1120 ( calculated 1 lit = 70 INR )

Rest all per person basis.

For 3 day i dont know the cost of accomodation & Food
