Guys, as the weather has improved quite a lot, i think its perfect for a short ride today....I m planning to check out ponmudi today evening. Those who are interested ,tag along. We ll be leaving from kowdiar at 3 o clock.

guys!! got my 4th svc done 2day from bajaj svc..didn't change oil...planned to change it with an outside mech...and guess what i found...there's this guy called joseph...he's got a w/s near pravachambalam(after nemom)...the guy from the ex-jawan oil shop guided me there...and believe me...if u get your bike to this guy...its really worth burning that much petrol to get there..!! he is simply an amazing guy...unlike any other mechanics i've ever seen...he shares the same biking mind like ours...very enthusiastic about biking and o'course his job!! i've decided after today..no more dealer svc from now on...even if u guys meet him...you'll feel the same...he looks after the bike really well...knows every single nitbit...i'm heading there tomorrow morning at 10...anyone can join me if you wanna meet him...
P.S: even though his workshop is smaller than my bedroom...it doesn't matter to him...(hez even got 2 hydraulic lifts to work with!! )

guys...got my bike today...changed the oil to valvoline SS...sounds and feels real gud now! well..the best part is...the mechanic again...he is 1 helluva mechanic i should say...did a complete run through check up of my bike...explained to me a lotta things while i stood there...learned a hell lotta new things about my beast! man..that guy's got some good gyaan!! his dad used to be a tank mechanic in the army!! he started his passion from age 9! now 53! you guys should really meet up with him...he cleaned my oil filter, air filter, spark plugs etc etc free....
P.S: we found out today the bajaj svc centre guys only did a water svc properly!! even the spark plugs were not cleaned!!

He does jobs on Royal Enfield too....?? Ask him the next time u go there....

All these SVC idiots are the same irrespective of the Brand
I had requested my SVC to check the Spark Plug and tighten all bolts which they said they did...but i doubted and went to another SVC and found tht none of these jobs had been done.

tank mechanic?!! BAdai anodey?!!! anyways if he z gud shall give it to him once in a while for thorough check up.....btw howz the labour charges with him??reasonable??

today evening fayad,ayson and me went for a small ride to ponmudi. The climate was good enough with a chilly breeze all the time we were climbing up. The roads are all well laid till the top right from anad. only prob is ,since is work is goin on, mud patches are all there on roads n so no scraping on the corners..dunno where will be after one scraping.

Am just back from my cochin ride... thankfully, the climate went back to normal - scorching hot - anyway, couldnt get the rewinding done as that guy had to go some where on emergency... so went to AQ, bought two bottles for Motul 5W40 full synth, drained my <2k old Motul semi and filled with full synth... changed spark plug to iridium... had the same guy who fixed my K&N retune the carb.... got 442 km for 10 lts... but, well, I was riding pretty sedate most of the time as I had pillion rider... return I took the MC road... after Changanasherry the road is better than the NH, wider and lesser traffic that the stupid NH47... even with a pillion I was doing upto 110 and cornering like anything...

not much tired... but left wrist paining... dunno why..
