We normally take the route nedumangad, Palod, Madathara, Kulathupuzha, Thenmala, Palaruvi. Another route isto take SH to Ayur, right turn to Anchal - Kulathupuzha, Thenmala, Palaruvi..
Gmaps is slow now.. else I'd have created a map and posted the link...

I guess this will be the route without touching Punalur.

Am I right guys? Or are we opting for the longer MC road - Punalur route?

If you guys want cornering action all the way, take the MC road, but mind you, there could be cops.
If you dont mind a little of rough roads, take the Nedumangad, Palod route.... last time I went that way, the roads were being resurfaced, so it could be all good now... Varun should know better....

                          • From where the fcuk is this rain coming all of a sudden when all the plans for the ride is finalised and waiting for it.....Right from last sunday, when this was bound to happen, it hasnt poured a bit for the past one week and its here now on this weekend.........now its momma's turn to yell at me when i m gonna put this proposal to ride , tonight !!!! We ll go through the MC road-ayoor-punalur when we go and come back through nedumangad(but Im not so familiar with the route, can try if possible).

I too suggest the MC Road route. Better roads, corners and cops.
Shall we fix this as the route?

Start from Kesavadasapuram, via Mc road to Ayur, from there to Punalur and Palaruvi. Return via Kulathupuzha, Madathara, Palode. Will be close to 200kms to and fro.

Need to decide on whether to take Ayur - Anchal - Punalur route or Ayur - Anchal - Kulathupuzha route.

                              • On you way back, immediately after Thenmala, instead of sticking to the good road (NH), take the left.... thereafter there wont be any confusions.... Just take a look at the maps before you head out...
