Am I right guys? Or are we opting for the longer MC road - Punalur route?

As of now, we dont have any shops who deal with saddle/tank bags... but heard Amba (Thakaraparambu rd.) owner has plans of opening a new shop exclusively for helmets and riding accessories... As of now, we all rely on AutoQueen in Kaloor, Cochin.Originally posted by ssh View Postnot sure whethere this is the right thread to post but where can i buy a saddle bag and a tank bag in Trivandrum?
BTW, can you please introduce yourself...
Please keep us in loop of your plans too.... at the least, we can join you on your ride... (you are riding right?Originally posted by rossiter View PostThanks guys! Your input is much appreciated. Needed this info for my route planning

I have been living in Trivandrum since Sept 09. I work at VSSC and i am staying near Vellayambalam.
I bought a Dazzler last month and i have planned a Chandigarh-Manali-LEh-Srinagar-Jammu trip planned starting 17th of this month. Tank bag is supposed to be for that..but since i cant go to Kochi now i think i may have to look somewhere else.

The ride was just awesome, just came back and had a bath.....We thought that the road through MC road was the best one but now after coming back through the palode route, i came to a conclusion that the MC road is just for 'drivers' who like to sleep in the car......Just loved the twisties and scraped the footpegs umpteen number of times. Eve n though its 2 laned, beautifully tarred and banked. Never expected this to be so good. This was my first ride with srijith and sreenath and it was wonderful and memorable.
The surprise came at nedumangad, All those who said they cant come and backed out were riding to ponmudi... BACK, we also joined them for the second ride of he day...
. But hell, phone calls started coming from home and the rains in the hills made riding further impossible. So me and sreenath chettan rode back and reached home from ponmudi base in flat 1:20 hrs.
. Trip meter reading:291kms.
"Ponmudi mayor" Srijith succesfully completed 2 rides and will be giving a full report ahortly :P....Last edited by VarunRTR; 07-11-2010, 08:37 PM.My New Blog : http://ridesaferidelong.blogspot.com/

It was an awesome ride even though heavy rain fall through out the Ponmudi hills
. finally we reached the top of the hill and met huge fog around us
It was nice ambience and all were shivering with cold due to wet jackets
Anyway a memorable ride...hope somebody will post the pictures....sreejith, Arun and Remy where are the snaps?.Please post the pictures.
Lijo & Varun: Do you have the xBhp stickers in stock? I have given your cel nos to a xBhp member(Vishnu PS, Alleppy based). Hope he will call you for the query. Please talk to him. Most motorcycle problems are caused by the nut that connects the handle bars to the seat.
