i need some help. if any of you guys have friends who had done laser treatment for shortsightedness ,please give me their contact no. if i have to clear the M.NAVY medicals i most probably will have to do the laser. their medical tests are strict.

Independence Day ride

guyz?? no1 interested in the independence day ride or what?? we need to start making some solid plans in order to join with the cochin guys....where is the itenerary?? confirmed riders? start making a list....

I am IN for the independence day ride.

Guys please let me know in advance whats the plan for the ride so that i can fix everything for the ride.Why i am having a stress on to this is because normally everything happens here on the last moment.

exactly...this isn't the 1st time...and not the 1st place....we can't help it...its high time someone started showing some kind of responsibility there... bajaj svc is never gonna change i guess...! sad to hear about your bike...i could feel your restlessness even on the 1st week your bike was taken to svc center...so i can imagine your condition now!

As far as I know there is on improvement works done in ktm-mvtpza stretch recently. Kottayam-etumanoor stretch got some repairs in the last week as the Honourable President of India's visit to Kottayam by this month.
If you want to take the good tarmac of mvtpza-tdpza stretch, take the root.
Otherwise this is the main alternative.

Ktm-etmnr(10 km)- hope you know the road condition
Etmnr-pala(16 km)-one of the best roads in kottayam. Not that much straight like mvtpza-tdpza stretch. But well built..
Pala-tdpza(27 km)-average road. Somewhat same as kottayam etmnr stretch. But corners and hills.
But I think this route is not that much hard to cover


There is a diversion from the road which can lead you people to Muttom, another junction we will be crossing after tdpza. But i wont recommend the route

Sorry that I couldnt update the details of dhanushkodi ride in the thread. Anand was the one who planned the ride. I couldnt come online for last week as net is down @ home. Any way, I am ready to join you all for another Dhanushkodi ride!
