Looks like I missed a whole lot of G2Gs

Keeping track of a forum is difficult unlike blogs! Are we looking for a destination for the next ride? I found Rameshwaram pretty interesting. The 2.3 KM bridge and going deep to see the link between India and Sri Lanka seems like a good proposition

Its about 400 kms...and since we leave Kerala within a few kms, roads should be good

I am in for that! I went there last month in four wheels (and killed few goats! ). On that time itself I made a decision to go there again on bike. Have around 5 kms ride through beach (ride-able track as narrow as a mini lorry's tyre width). Check out the GIR1 photos to see the heaven there!!

Oh very sad fine... did you called Mr Musa, Car point? If it is not there then cochin will be the best place to buy

My bike shut down its function totally yesterday A mechanic from PBK came and checked the whole engine. He said the fuel pump is not working properly Finally I catched a mini truck and send my baby to PBK Auyrveda college junction. Told them to replace a new fuel pump. She will be back only after one week.

Aww! Sad, but let she be rejuvenated to be with you for another 50k kms!

Regarding dhanushkodi trip

Sreejith.. please plan in such a way that the trip comes on weekend.. else it will be hard to adjust for me.And also it will be good if the dates are announced well in advance.

Why i am asking you is that i hope the other guy who planned is working with you i suppose.

great going guys.... I believe srijith should be knowing about the places to stay and all since he had a visit to the same place last month only.. my parents also went there last month and said there are a lot of hotels(budget and really good ones) . I believe you need atleast 2 days to cover it up fully....start on a saturday morning 3 AM and back on sunday night. Sreenath chetto, carry a really good cam as you will have lots to click .

BTW Arun and me went for a small exploration yesterday some 55kms from trivandrum, a really good place to spend a day....Its actually an island but we couldnt go into the island as we didnt get boat.. Just explored the entire place and came back before evening. We can plan and have a nice ride next month or so.Photographs will be uploaded shortly...

I am going ponmudi tomorrow with some other friends. The time will be 10.00 AM. Can't make it to evening :-( So if by any chance, the xbhp ride gets cancelled, everyone is welcome to join me at 10.00 AM from CCD. And if thexbhp ride actually happends (*sobs*) let's meet on the way back!

BTW, Rameshwaram is ofcourse a dirty place with lots of pilgrims coming in and out. But on the way there are vast salt fields, blue uber windy sea shores and straight long lonely roads. Dhanushkodi is ride-able if we can take the risk of following a lorry track Not because it's rocky, but the sand is too fine and we may get stuck if we dont follow the track perfectly. An absolute test to the riding skills.

Yeah...they will do the Engine decarbonize. Lijo, Binoy and sreejith...thanks for your support...guys I really missed my bike Bored to ride with a Car all day.
My bike's fuel pump costs Rs2800/- and the gurantee is only for 2 years or 30000km which ever comes first I have completed 37000km so I have to throw money from my own pocket. I have not seen any R15's fuel pump got troubled in 2 years or 50000 kms..HOW THIS COULD BE JUSTIFIED?
Is that Delphi made fuel pump is not fit for even two years in an Indian bike? SHAME ON this Bajaj!!! Anyway PBK promised to rectify all problems within coming Friday I am eagerly waiting for that day.
