Guys, my bike is full of problems If I started the engine then that will be shut down within 7 minitues.Today one mechanic from PBK will come for check up. I think that is the same rely problem I have faced at Yercaud trip. Anyway TVM PBK assured to full service including Valve clearence, T chain replace, front fork and cone check up,etc etc on 26th of ths month Anyway this may a new life to my Partner

da, all the car accessories shop I checked out had NB. There are couple of them in the Plamood - Pattom area. Then there is one near Srikariyam and one at Pongumud.... I dont remember the price, but the shop at Pattom jn had them in singles also...

Thanks da, so its better buy it from pattom rite? Swaroop told the cost is around 800-850 in cochin. Is there any problem using the NB i.e pele shalyam undavuo, like using HD or any battery issues?

@all: guyz...tintu is going to chennai on the 1st week of august...so he asked if anyone wants any stuff from over there just get in contact with him...let him know by tomorrow or day after...i'm planning to get a pair of gloves...depends on the budget...my eyes are on A*...again!

Dont worry about pelas... NB is not as bright as an HID, so just say that its stock. Simply dont give in to them... Strongly disagree, but be polite...

AFAIK, NB should not be problem on FZ... ask Ranjith or Swaroop... or check out the Let there be light thread

Looks like I missed a whole lot of G2Gs

Keeping track of a forum is difficult unlike blogs! Are we looking for a destination for the next ride? I found Rameshwaram pretty interesting. The 2.3 KM bridge and going deep to see the link between India and Sri Lanka seems like a good proposition

Its about 400 kms...and since we leave Kerala within a few kms, roads should be good

I have changed my rear tyre today... the cost made me think WTF...
the price has been increased now rear tyre costs 2900Rs/-
Got a mileage of 27250 kms with the rear tyre which is quiet good and had a full service also. changed front & rear sprockets, chain, air filter, oil filter, Motul Semi syn(10W40) oil... now its in showroom condition... waiting for a long ride...

Dont worry chetta... machines tend to break down all the time... think of all the morons who dont even look after their ride and when it goes kaput they kick it!! And isnt it better that these happened now rather than later when we are on an epic ride...

Oh really sorry to hear that. when i had my RX100 i will stand in front the workshop from early mornings... it was that good old days
As Vishnu said i also heard pulsar needs decarbonisation every 25000 kms... don't know if its correct or not.

I have changed my headlight to Osram NB which costed me 750 Rs/- the real cost was 812 got it for 750(Thank Lijo for his help)... my review on it is like the high beam is really good which has a good range of white beam very useful during long night rides... i am not a guy who use high beam, if we can get a good long straight with no vehicles on opposite sides, it is a bliss... the low beam hmmm its ok for me, didn't notice a considerable difference from the stock one.
