If we are looking for maximum participation from the newbies and students, its not a good idea to fix far away places. It would be difficult for them to ride to and fro the whole distance in one day and also they need to be home before its too late.

So its better to keep the total distance to around 300km.

Otherwise we can go ahead with a 3day ride.

For EKM ppl >> 366 KMS 1 side

For TVM talkies >> 263 KMS 1 side

TVM + EKM joining at THENMALA riding together 192 KMS

For 3 day ride ... Extended

Madurai .. Ooty ..285 KMS

Madurai ..Kodaikanal .. 115 kms

Dates which i suggest is October 7 8 9 or November 11 12 13.

Expected Cost for 1 day EKM >>

Total Kms 740
Avg Mileage per lit 35 kms
Petrol required 22 liters
Cost 1600 ( calculated 1 lit = 70 INR )

Expected Cost for 1 day TVM >>

Total Kms 540
Avg Mileage per lit 35 kms
Petrol required 16 liters
Cost 1120 ( calculated 1 lit = 70 INR )

Rest all per person basis.

For 3 day i dont know the cost of accomodation & Food

Nice suggestion for the route @sree. so all of 3 day members can continue their journey to Ooty from Madurai where one day participants can return back. Good suggestion for both 1 day and 3 day trips.

Right said If we are focusing for maximum participants then a nearby location is best. Short ride, talks, photos, lunch and return...A place in between Eranakulam and Trivandrum is better. Lijo will be here on 23rd. So we can make a spread sheet for this. Anyway it is nice to see that lots of students are here for one day ride but most of them are on tentative list. so Is there any chance of less participation at the final moment Within this week the dates and place will confirm..so there is no need of any dilemma. Students xBhpians please convince your parents for a short ride for the time being

I too agree to what AJ bhai has told..Coz we want the future edivettu riders to be among us..

Only 1 thing in advance.. if we shorteb the ride & only a min of 5 riders & no juniors then i gonna burn everyone asses & never ever make a request for ride
