What nothing happening here? I was thinking it may have become too late to rejoin.. Fix the dates fast

Just my personal opinion Praful - but I think it has a lot to do with the venue. It's too far for most of us from Chennai, Coimbatore and Kerala unless it's a 5 day affair and frankly the venue isn't very exciting. For me, the only attraction is the company!

At least that's what I think. I do want to join in myself but I haven't figured out my Jan schedule yet, so will probably pop in unannounced!

i too feel the same .. i think venue is the problem it seems .. other wise by this time .. we would have had 50+ participants in worst case also .. even munnar was long journey .. but look at the numbers .. coz most of them considered the venue.
anyway now its already fixed the place .. me too in tentative as i am in very complex situation in work/life timing .. so can't commit now , and i am tentative ..and as u said i might pop in last min for the ride ..provided if there's an vacancy

this time Chennai guys were in less number , usually in most G2G's max number will be from Karnataka and TN.

I wish by the end date there will be good numbers, anyway i am looking for G2G which happens in June

... coz of some really surprise bike participations .. like Duke,GT250R,Mojo [if its launched],Pulsar new,..etc...etc.. and ofcourse for me a life partner

I voted for a different date, but I won't mind joining in on any of these days either. Hope there are more guys like me

As it has been said before, there will always be a distance problem for a few cities. The Hyderabad junta have been left out of Interstate G2G's for pretty long now, and hence the location that is centric to both BLR/HYD is Hampi.

For Eg: We might have another ISG2G @ Malvan, BLR/MUM/PUN will be able to ride to that place but will again be too far for any of the other southern states!

And for the ride to be interesting, it has to be the hills or somewhere on the coast. And neither is centric to BLR/HYD

Simply put we can't always have ISG2G's that are centric to KL/KA/TN. Then they'd have to SISG2G's

Rightly said. But I personally feel that there is too much of a discussion going on. Lets just wait till the polls close and then we can try and prevail with the other guys

Shoots!!! I wanted to make this ride, but sadly I can do anything but these dates!!! Quite sad that I'd cancelled all the other tasks in the previous weekends; really disappointed

^^^ Let's see; 29th is my cousin's wedding & I can't afford to skip that; I'd kept myself free on all other weekends & was having high hopes; not sure if things can turn around in the last few hours that hadn't happened on all these days!!!

I'm out. Won't be able to make it. I'll be relocating soon and will be nowhere close enough to be able to ride to Hampi. You guys have an awesome g2g.
