@Zayn: I recently found out (when I got my GP-One's visor changed) that even 'Chopra' is no less a extortionist when it comes to pricing of products. The same visor which I was charged a Rs.120/- was priced at an amazing Rs.175/- at 'Chopra' for no apparent reason.

Is that so? Let me go and talk to him. I will try to get your money refunded if he has extorted from you.

Nothing much happens in this city. Mostly show, a lot of hot air and hype and talk. Like everything else in this city, motorcycling is not different. The real bikers had left last weekend, some to discover the Pushkar fair, some riding on the sands of the Sambhar Lake practising and honing their skills on sands and other difficult surfaces. Most of that stuff goes unnoticed and seldom discussed! And all members are from the Delhi Chapter of xBhp.

Thanks a lot bro. Will avoid that shop as you say. I have already got some idea of prices of helmets from the "Helmets" thread so not a total noob now
Will survey 2-3 shops first and then Chopra.

Seems i wont be able to go today, chem tuitions, to hell with these studies, trying to find a way out. Dad's not allowing me to take my 220 out because i dont have proper riding gear...

All right. Wont go there now, buying riding gear and not geting looted is a difficult job these days.

Seems the stunts around Dhaba and useless chatting on the thread here have really put you off. Me too will join the Delhi G2G chapter from Jan onwards.
Hope the induction ride is the best ever ride till now. So badly wanted to join in

So what are the plans for this sunday....

We all can go for a short ride....(manesar or somewhere else)

i am proposing for a short ride so that senior member + MOds notice
up the driving skills of new members and give them tips....

What we can do is we can be divide in 2groups i.e. members going
for the december ride will be the 1st group which will leave before the second group so that senior member can notice them...After 5 to 10 minutes second group will leave consisting of new members + senior and some
old and junior members.Specially on this group senior members can keep their EAGLE EYE..So that riding skill of each and every person can be noticed and senior members give their views on that how we all are riding ,where we were wrong ,provide tips which senior members experienced from their past..
i am giving this idea so that mods and senior members can see up the riding skills of all members speciall new ones(WHO ARE NOT GOING ON TRIP)...because there is major focus on the members
who all are going for the trip..So the next time mODS can easily shortlist
members for the trip....Its a suggestion only....

I didn't purchase the visor from him. I always enquire at different shops before I make the final purchase of anything.

@Kunjal: Good idea this, but rest assured something like this is being planned whereby the organizers of the 'Delhi Induction Ride' will be keeping an eye on the applicant's riding manners and everything else in between.
