          • It's a little over noon. Sunshine is finally managing to wade through the thick envelope of fog and the gang is probably back at the dhaba munching over some nice parathas and some much yearned-for hot tea after that freezing ride to Manesar McD.

            I hate you, my office!

Despite all of nature's fury, More than 15 of us (somebody correct me on this) met up at the dhaba. Prat_san and I decided to take my bike to the G2G and, feeling thoroughly convinced along the way that we'd have a mickey made of ourselves by being the only ones there in such weather, we reached there to find men with much stronger resolves already waiting.

In the next hour, the gathering swelled to more Pulsar's, R15s, Ravi sir's gorgeous ZMR and Sherry paaji's immaculate Unicorn (prat has a unicorn so we can tell when a first gen Unicorn is kept immaculately ).

After introductions and photo sessions, RX da, Shivanshu and Sherry briefed us noobs on the rules of group riding and we set off to brave the weather and make our way to Manesar. The visibility did play somewhat of a spoilsport as the group inadvertently broke up along the way, calling for a few regrouping stops. But the ride went smoothly, we managed sticking to the formation most of the times; and reached McDonald's shortly before 10.

I think it's best to summarize the McD stop in the following way:

            1. Their hand drying blower won praise for that sweet sweet blast of hot air on our nearly frozen hands.
            2. Their awful breakfast menu earned unanimous scorn from the group.
            3. We had a chance to sit down and talk some more about random stuff.
            4. The fun-meisters made us laugh even harder with their jokes.

We left a little early since I had to reach back to ITO (painstakingly so) and hence currently missing the rest of the action.

A super duper thank you to the old members for their warmth in welcoming us to the brotherhood.

All in all, an amazing ride. And all the damnation to the biting cold aside, I think the day was just perfect for this G2G which had so many of us new members getting acquainted.

            Once again, thank you guys!

            • The meet went smoothly on track ...... 15 bikers, chilling weather ... WHOA .... what a ride it was, experienced a lil bit what my friends are experiencing up there in lansdowne ..... Anyways meeting new members is always fun, Shivi bhai as always, guided us rightly, RX Da as always " A helping hand ", and last but not the least, Sherry Bhai checked our bike's papers as if we had committed a crime ...

              • Great VD17 nice write up and thanks for coming over and sharing your experience with us.... I am happy, hope to see you around more in our meets

Alright my day started at 6 and then with Shery Paaji's call at 6:15am, I got up made some tea and then just went out to my balcony to feel what the weather is like. With a hot cup of tea at 6:30am I was shivering with cold, it was freezing and with fog and wind both playing together, the only thing coming in my mind was.... if we can make this happen.

At 7am I was at dhaba, with visibility less than 50metres due to fog, I was sure that no one would be there... but what a surprise. A new member who joined in March this year was standing out there with his bike indicators on... he was Sunil aka Thapa.Sunil on his P150. we had a small chit chat for about 10minutes when Kurtrules came in...and yes we were enjoying all chit chat with smoke when people started coming in...and soon there was about 17 bikes parked in front of dhaba in that foggy condition where riding was very tough.... helmets off to you all and thank you so much for coming over.

There were 4 new members who didnt had a group ride with xBhpians and neither interacted with them. The names are:

                1. Sunil aka Thapa.Sunil - P150
                2. Vinayak aka VD17 - P180
                3. Prateek aka Prat_san - Pillion with Vinayak
                4. Anthony aka andyluvall - P220

After a quick chit chat session and some chats, the papers of all the bikes were checked, and it was good to see all were carrying there complete papers. Then a quick intro was given by our new members, which was recorded by Sherry Paaji and would be posted later. All the new mebers along with some old members were clicked along with there bikes, which would be posted by Dipankar Da.

After this, we briefed the riding techniques of group ride to all, since from dhaba it was 14 bikes going, so we had one group and then left for Manesar MacD. Few members got late and joined in between the ride, which was alright seeing the weather conditions. Though there were some regular stop for regrouping but all was managed well. Till we reached Manesar MacD all were cold, and cup of coffee with a smoke was a great relief. At Manesar MacD we were joined by Tilak jee (where eagles dare), it was great to have him with us. And also came our RPM Boy, who is always great as usual. After all the tummy filling sessions, we had a group photo. Then we rode back to Delhi, where the Gurgaon Expressway Toll was a regrouping point. All rode in proper group formation even while coming back and at very moderate speed. After the Toll we all dispersed to our own destinations. I am very happy with the way all riders following the group discipline while riding.

I would like to thank Sherry Paaji, Dipankar Da, Kurt, Tilak Jee, Ravi Bhai, Rossi, Kunjal, Sava, Prakhar, Prateek, Zayn, RPM, Tanay, Abhishek and all old timers (sorry if I missed any) for making it happen so good. I really appreciate this team work. We should do it regulary from coming year onwards.

And a warm welcome to VD17, andyluvall, prat_san and thapa.sunil to Xbhp. I hope to see you guys more now. And as VD17 has already given a feed back, I would also request the other three friends to put there points also, it would be great. Thank you so much for coming and braving this cold.

The pics would be updated soon by Sherry Paaji and Dipankar Da.

So to all friends a Belated Merry Christmas and a Very happy New Year.... God Bless you all !!!!!

Great that you came by. and believe me, I've seen people coming in worst conditions then what we had today and the spirit has always been as charged up as ever.

And now, want to pass on my special thanks to each and every member who made this possible. Loved the way all followed the formation and the way everyone looked up at the group as 1 entity.

Missed some part of the formation ride because of one idiot nail in my rear tyre. But nevertheless i was able to make it on time to manesar.

Won't take any names but initiatives like these should happen more often and i guess a group or official long ride is pending.

                            • First of all....."SORRY" for being late. By mistake switched off the morning alarm instead of snoozing it

Tanay's call at 7.57am woke me up , and just rushed for everything, in hurry I forgot to wear the Knee pads that I realized later near India Gate, and I thought it won't be that cold but I was wrong thinking that the wearing of leg thermals would be a wrong idea.
A specs wearing person faces more problem in the fog
I told Tanay that I would be meeting them at Manesar Toll as they took the M.G Road and I was on Dhaula Kuan route, anyways I just waited for 10mts when I saw a row of bikers coming and I joined for McD.

It was a nice, disciplined, enjoying ride that we had.

Thanks Tilak Sir for coming and Sherry Paaji, thanks that you came even though it was not for long, that shows brotherhood.

VD17,andyluvall,prat_san,thapa.suni : A warm welcome from my side, jhappi paao
And hope to meet you on regular basis now on

@VD17 : I hope you got the story!!
@Andyluvall : Nice meeting you buddy...
@prat_san : At last someone with my name, will interact with you next time, pakka se
@thapa.sunil : Quiet guy, open up

After leaving from dhabha, me, tanay, rossi_god went to Kirti Nagar probiking to get his ODO cable changed and planned to go to ansal's first , then go to Karol Bagh, on way met navalds (Naval paaji) at petrol pump and went to the Lord's Rally with him.
And left for Karol Bagh with Rossi_god as Tanay have to leave for home.

Thanks all for making this sunday a wonderful sunday.........
