It is in Alwar, around 165km from Delhi. Spreaded around 11kms, it is good palace to hang around. One f my contact say that it is worth a try.
More info can be found at the link. Siliserh Lake, Sili Serh Lake Alwar,Siliserh Lake Palace, Siliser Lake Sariska , Siliserh Jheel Alwar, Lake Siliserh Alwar

Hi guys
It is dismaying to observe people jumping to suggest places like Damdama lake, sohna; Murthal or Manesar frequently. These places seem like baby's day out locations. Moreover, it gives a melancholic impression that delhites are pressed for riding destinations, apart from the above mentioned few.
Ride to Silserh lake seems like a bright suggestion.
Another option similar to Siliserh, dsitance wise, could be Delhi to Mathura, via Vrindavan. Delhi to Mathura is 157kms. Vrindavan falls enroute, before Mathura. This route is paralleled by the yamuna river. So I imagine the route will have lots of greenery all round. However I have no clue about road conditions, even though i believe it would be good as it is the Delhi-Agra highway. I heard the Agra-Jaipur highway is awesome, so Delhi-Agra should be similar if not better?

Hi Guys
I am still not able to decide where to guy .........
My request to all
Some one please take initiative to come forward & take ownership to get this trip organized.
Reason why I cannot take ownership
Construction is going on at my home so there may be a possibility that I may not join the ride.
Regards

Ride-de-Bhangarh
Hi Guys,
I have planned a ride to Bhangarh and Sriska Tiger Reserve (May be Alwar also). And this one complete Off the track. I have to collect my degree and some other documents from Govt. Engg. Collage Loahru. Loharu is near Pilani, at the border of Haryana-Rajasthan.
Here is the plan.
Thursday 17 October
Leave from Delhi at 4.00 am and reach to Loharu via Rohtak-Bhiwani by 9.00 am. Complete the Collage task by 10.00 am and than ride to Bhangarh via Mahindergarh and Narnaul. I guess to Hit Bhangarh by 1500 hrs. This way we can check out Bhangarh in Day and Night (Both).
Friday 18 October
Visit Sriska Tiger Reserve and check out all the wildlife and natural beauty.
Come back to Delhi vai Alwar-Rewari-Gurgaon. I heard that Route is totally rocking.
Need Suggestions. If there is anything worth visit.
If anyone want to join, Most Welcome. +91-8826264603, facebook.com/sandeepsinghdahiya
Party at Bhangarh on 17th Night. BP On the Rocks!!!!Where There is a will, There is a Highway.

This is a very good plan... but the Bhanghar is close after sunset and noone is allowed to stay there during night.. (its an order from government)... now as far as the road is concerned... me and 6 other xbhpiens went there last year..the trip was awesome... still get delighted with the memories.... but the road was aweful... so please check the condition of the roads and update so that futher homework can be done...Originally posted by Sandeep-Dahiya View PostHi Guys,
