Just wanted to point out to anyone concerned:

That there is a pop up that comes, everytime i log on, informing me about the the xbhp stall in the autoexpo. Since the autoexpo is long past, the pop up may be outdated?

Hey Guys as we all know Republic Day is coming so lets plan a ride as we did for Independence Day in 2010.

My request to all Xbhpians to pour in ideas to make it a great ride.

My suggestion for Destinations are Agra, Damdama Lake, Gajraula.

Dates:
26-Jan-2012 (Might be difficult for many xbhpians because of office)
29-Jan-2012 (Best as it is a week off)

Last date to decide LOCATION & DAY is 22-Jan-2012 (updated)


Rider Instructions:
Rider and Pillion have to wear Helmets (ISI/ECE/DOT Mark)
Carry RC of the vehicle (Registration Certificate)
Carry DL (Driving License)
Carry valid Insurance papers
Carry PUC Certificate
No stunts, no drags, no overtaking in group formation. - Rider found doing this will be asked to go home then and there (Focusing more on this point due to previous instances)
Ride in group formation - Go through this as many times (Click Me!!!)
Papers will be checked by the leader and the sweeper before the ride.
Please get the tank full before the ride. Photographers get ready with your lenses & Guns .

Gears / Dress :
It would be good if everyone try to wear all the gears (Riding Jacket, Gloves, Knee Guards, Elbow Guards). Those who don't have these please wear thick jackets and gloves, ankle length boots/shoes to be on the safer side.

My request to whole Xbhp office team to join & make this ride memorable.

So whats the plan for the 26th people? Only 3 days left. Is it ice skating on dumduma lake, or Agra or Gajraula{whats there} or any other less beaten path?

Not trying to jump the gun here. But im interested to know if anyone is taking the 27th off, and planning some sort to extended touring programme, beginning on the 26.

Thanx mate. I was aware of it. However the idea of seeing snow and sub zero temps shivers my timbers. I am on the skinny side, cold gets to me quicker. I might end up frozen in riding position, like when dumb and dumber went to Aspen . But hats off to them, thats an adventure which will return a sense of achievement!

@ Deep Singh:Alwar is a great idea for the 29th/26th.
We must a have a large ride to celebrate the worlds largest democratic day.
More participation, suggestions and consensus are missing .

My thought: The Sunday 29th of January '11 is this year's Vasant Panchami. As you all know, it is the Hindu festival which marks the end of winter , and the beginning of spring. A traditional day for "young girls dressed in the diverse shades of yellow magnifying the splendor of nature", to come out celebrate and worship Godess Saraswati and Kamadeva. Forays into Rajasthan or Vrindavan on the 29th may allow us to witness this. It is also much celebrated in Ferozepur, Punjab, where girls dressed in yellow fly big kites ; but thats almost as far as travelling to Pakistan.

Acc. to wikipedia 2 temples dedicated to kamadeva worship close to delhi is:
1-Harshat Mata Temple is a ruined temple situated at Abaneri, in Jaipur District of Rajasthan. It has sculptures regarding the romantic themes of dance, music and garden-spot, which reminds of the Gupta tradition. 8th century architecture and art traditions can be seen.
2-Kameshvara Temple, in Kamyavan, one of the twelve forests of Vrindavana
3-is in tamil nadu.

yep i have seen you on dhaba last sunday but while i am going back to home from main road i was overtaking and the ninja was coming opp to me and he was showing leg too mee .

is that the thing xbhp promote safe biking
