This weekend most of us would be busy with the Auto Expo. Also we have plans to meet up @ dhaba in eveving rather than morning. Xbhpians from other states would also be coming.

Actually, for the very first time i realized that i am more of a riding enthusiast than an auto enthusiast

All my bikes have been my trusted companions so far (three bikes for different terrains and conditions) so somehow i don't feel over enthusiastic for auto shows and the only reasons i am having at this juncture to visit this show are 1: i get to meet lots of xbhpians from other states too and 2: of course there are lots of technological up-gradations happening these days especially in auto industry and i am hoping to come across some of these upgraded techs which could make my future rides more comfortable and reliable...

Republic Day Ride

Hey Guys as we all know Republic Day is coming so lets plan a ride as we did for Independence Day in 2010.

My request to all Xbhpians to pour in ideas to make it a great ride.

My suggestion for Destinations are Agra, Damdama Lake, Gajraula.

Dates:
26-Jan-2012 (Might be difficult for many xbhpians because of office)
29-Jan-2012 (Best as it is a week off)

Last date to decide LOCATION & DAY is 22-Jan-2012 (updated)


Rider Instructions:
Rider and Pillion have to wear Helmets (ISI/ECE/DOT Mark)
Carry RC of the vehicle (Registration Certificate)
Carry DL (Driving License)
Carry valid Insurance papers
Carry PUC Certificate
No stunts, no drags, no overtaking in group formation. - Rider found doing this will be asked to go home then and there (Focusing more on this point due to previous instances)
Ride in group formation - Go through this as many times (Click Me!!!)
Papers will be checked by the leader and the sweeper before the ride.
Please get the tank full before the ride. Photographers get ready with your lenses & Guns .

Gears / Dress :
It would be good if everyone try to wear all the gears (Riding Jacket, Gloves, Knee Guards, Elbow Guards). Those who don't have these please wear thick jackets and gloves, ankle length boots/shoes to be on the safer side.

Checked that thready already however I am looking forward for 1 day ride because many of us are working & it is hard to get leaves in beginning of year. Still it is a nice option.

Well jokes apart; I personally would like to ride with you on Jalori Shoja route that's why i invited you...but it wont be possible to do the above mentioned route in a day...secondly its been already three months when i did my last ride (Delhi-Naldhera-Delhi) so my heart is already thumping to get atleast four days treat!!

but never mind & take care!! and do let us know what you finally decide!!
